Here for your consideration is a 1976 Left Handed Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass Made in Germany in good condition! The real deal McCartney Bass! This one is in overall very good condition and feels great. The body shows very pronounced wood grain and some finish cracks that run along the grain. These do not affect the tone, playability, or structural integrity of the bass and give it a really cool vintage look. Besides that the body is in very good condition. Neck and headstock are in very good condition. Fretboard is excellent and frets show only very light wear with plenty of life left. Hardware is in great shape for its age. Electronics work great and pickups sound fantastic. Overall a super cool original Beatle Bass that feels and sounds awesome. Has been fully inspected and set up with LaBella Flatwounds. Includes gig bag.
