This kit suits HSV vehicles fitted with the LS1 from 10 2003. The Genuine GM high performance hydraulic roller lifters are an upgrade for factory lifters with refined durability and performance. These are a performance replacement for stock hydraulic roller lifters, are preloaded and have to be installed between 3 8 and 3 4 turn (vs. 1 2 to 1.

The Genuine GM high performance hydraulic roller lifters are an upgrade for factory lifters with refined durability and performance. These are a performance replacement for stock hydraulic roller lifters, are preloaded and have to be installed between 3/8 and 3/4 turn (vs. 1/2 to 1.5 turns on stock lifters).
The Genuine GM OE replacement LS lifter tray/guide set included in the kit is specifically designed to hold the lifters in place and keep them from rotating. These guides with side grooves can accommodate four valve lifters in each and a total of four guides, is required for an engine.
The Genuine GM MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) head gasket set is a perfect fit for both stock and mildly modified engines. These gaskets feature 3 layered stainless steel faces.
ARP produces fasteners from a wide combination of materials going from famous hardened steel and 8740 chrome moly to exotic alloys that have been created to deal with space travel. 8740 chrome moly used in the head bolt kit is classified as a quench and temper steel, that can be heat-treated to provide tensile strengths between 180,000 and 210,000 psi. The head bolt kit comes complete with hardened washers and high-strength hex nuts.
