What is L-Theanine?

L-Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in green tea. L-Theanine promotes relaxation without the drowsiness or negative side effects associated with other calming agents.* L-Theanine also supports healthy cardiovascular function through this relaxing effect.* This formulation also includes inositol, a member of the B-vitamin family that is essential for brain and nervous system health.* This product has twice the L-theanine (200 mg. per capsules) than our regular strength product (100 mg. per capsule). 

Manufacturing Testing and Assurance

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. Made and quality tested in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. NOW conducts approximately 19,000 quality control tests per month in their in-house labs to ensure their products are safe and effective. In taking more positive steps on their journey to reduce the company's environmental impact, NOW is starting the transition of their supplement bottles to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin in 2023. Replacing the NOW standard PET bottles with PCR resin allows the company to re-use recycled packaging materials and lighten NOW's footprint on the earth.
