The GX-630DB is one of models to be produced in the now famous GX line. It is an extremely well-made machine which benefited from years of production models that came before it.
Because of its 3 heads, 2 being Glass & Xtal Ferrite, it can reproduce tape with extreme clarity and stunning accuracy throughout entire frequency range. They are also some of the most durable heads ever made and last for decades with little to no degradation.
The GX-630DB is packed with innovative features which include EE Tape Compatibility. With the advent of high-performance Extra Efficiency (EE) tapes, it caused older reel-to-reel decks to be outdated. Auto reverse was made possible with 3 heads in the GX-630DB. Two of them are the renowned Akai GX heads - one for recording, one for forward playback. One of the stand-out performance qualities of the GX is its extremely accurate, stable tape travel with absolutely no contact errors. These heads, made from low noise, crystal ferrite and super hard glass, are incredibly durable. The DD capstan motor is extremely stable, maintaining perfect speed always, while keeping wow & flutter to a negligible level. It is rare even today to find such precision in a consumer grade product. When you listen, it is simply stunning how good this technology is...even today.

This unit is extremely clean and was well cared for by its owner, originally purchased in the Philippines. With virtually no wear marks on the side wood panels (see photos). There are no scratches, discoloration or distractions, all switches move with ease, overall, very minimal wear. Lights have been checked and are in complete working order. Front silver face is very clean no digs or scratches and no visible wear, all the printed text is not worn and is still crisp and clean black. Body and sides are clean with no dents, chips, or scratches to the wood, virtually no wear. The feet attached and AC cord are in excellent shape. Heads have been cleaned and tested in both play & record functions. Please do inspect all the pictures thoroughly for actual condition.
Service:
Following work, all functions were tested. The unit is in proper normal working order. This unit was serviced and cleaned by our in-house tech with Deoxit and given proper lubrication. All tape heads & pinch rollers have been cleaned and realigned. All internal controls, motors, connections, and switches were cleaned and tested to assure trouble-free operation. All belts have been replaced with new belts and functionality was retested.

Noah's Ark
It's the largest caddy I could find that is great. Compared with other product reviews: no assembly required, sturdy, scratch protected feet, no rusting, etc. I bought clear and black spray, foam and capped bottles for it and just love having all my natural cleaning products out, handy, coordinating and looking good. Add a splash of color with some nice kitchen sheers or dish cloth. I like that it's not broken into a lot of compartments, but rather mostly platform to mix and match lots of bottles onto. I do have a long handled brush, and the basket holds it beautifully without tipping. Great product.
This stand works perfectly for me! Ive bought a lot and they either rust or the tray leaks water or you have to let the built in metal tray run directly in to the sink, which doesn't work if the sink is raised even a little bit.
This stand holds multiple cleaning tools, sponge brushes etc, the drain plugs and I can hang my cleaning cloth to dry. It is perfect. The tray catches all the water drips and cleans easily. It is compact and makes my kitchen counter look neat.

Strong Suction Cups
Color: Silver
I didn't realize that this caddy came with the option to use suction cups or adhesive hooks. I opted for the suction cups and was pleasantly surprised at their strength. I loaded the caddy up with a couple of sponges, fingernail brush, and a dishwashing brush (filled with liquid soap) and have had no problems with the caddy remaining strongly secured. It's a great little organizer and looks really nice.
