This book explains the subtleties of quantum statistical mechanics in lower dimensions and their possible ramifications in quantum theory. The discussion is at a pedagogical level and is addressed to both graduate students and advanced researchers with a reasonable background in quantum and statistical mechanics.

Topics in the first part of the book include the flux tube model of anyons, the braid group and a detailed discussion about the various aspects of quantum and statistical mechanics of a noninteracting anyon gas.

The second part of the book includes a detailed discussion about fractional statistics from the point of view of Chern-Simons theories. Topics covered here include Chern-Simons field theories, charged vortices, anyon superconductivity and the fractional quantum Hall effect.

Since the publication of the first edition of the book, an exciting possibility has emerged, that of quantum computing using anyons. A section has therefore been included on this topic in the second edition. In addition, new sections have been added about scattering of anyons with hard disk repulsion as well as fractional exclusion statistics and negative probabilities.

First off, the size is perfect for my small to medium-sized dog. The detachable high wall is a great feature, as it helps contain any messes or spills, keeping my floors clean. How have I gone so long without this in my life? I've struggled for a bit with my older dog and the messes he makes. We really like the idea and ease

Right out of the box, it comes with pee pads included, which is a thoughtful touch and lets you start using it immediately without needing to buy extras first. The design is simple yet highly effective, especially for dogs who tend to lift their leg or accidentally aim a bit higher than expected. The removable high wall guard is one of the standout features. It does an excellent job preventing urine from splashing outside the pad area and keeps surrounding floors, walls, and furniture clean. Works Great & Very Practical for Indoor Potty Training

I really love this pee pad tray. We have a similar one from another retailer that has worked well, and I wanted a second tray for our multi-story home. My puppy had no trouble using this right away since he’s already trained to use a pad when we’re not able to take him out. The design keeps his paws dry, which I appreciate, and it even came with wee pads included. The splash guard is a nice touch for male dogs my puppy isn’t lifting his leg yet, but it will definitely be useful later on. Just a note: if your dog tends to have softer stools, cleaning the small holes in the tray might take a little extra effort. For us, that hasn’t been an issue, and the tray is easy to rinse off when needed. Overall, this is a much cleaner and more reliable option compared to indoor grass pads or loose training pads that some puppies chew up. I’m really happy with it and would recommend it.
