Description:

Here for your consideration is a 2008 Yamaha Custom Shop LL-26 ARE "Original Jumbo" (Yamaha's take on a dreadnought) in excellent condition! an absolutely beautiful sounding acoustic with a solid Engelmann spruce top treated with A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a 5-ply Mahogany/Paduak neck. This one is very clean showing no notable damage or blemishes. Frets show the very lightest signs of wear in the first positions but no major divots. This one came with a sound hole pickup, but the pickup has a pole piece missing. The 3/8" jack that plugs into the pickup is still installed so one could easily be re-installed. Original pickup is included.  Appears to have not seen much use in its life and been very well taken care of. An incredible acoustic that sounds amazing and plays GREAT! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original Yamaha hard case and documentation.

From the web:

The 2008 Yamaha LL26 is a handcrafted, Japanese-made acoustic guitar built in the dedicated Hamamatsu Custom Shop. Featuring a solid Engelmann spruce top treated with A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), solid Indian rosewood back/sides, and a 5-ply mahogany/padauk neck with an ebony fretboard. The LL26 is known for its "modified dreadnought" (original jumbo) body shape, vintage-style non-scalloped bracing, and open-gear gold tuners

  • Handcrafted Excellence: Each "26" series instrument is built by a small team of master luthiers. These guitars are distinguished from lower production lines (like the L-16) by their superior wood selection and manual construction techniques.

    • Top: Solid Engelmann Spruce with A.R.E. treatment.
    • Back/Sides: Solid Indian Rosewood.

Great quality! Sounds great and we’ll built!
I’ve owned a couple of these larger Bluetooth “party” speakers and this is by far the best sounding and well built one I’ve owned. The last one I bought was made by Ion and was much larger, but I think this one sounds WAY better and just looks and feels like quality. The Ion just felt cheap and it died just after the warranty period (of course) It wouldn’t power up anymore even when plugged into a wall outlet. The light show is killer in this if you’re out by the pool at night. I almost forgot to mention, this thing is very lightweight, so easy to carry around. It’s a winner.

Highs Muddled (XL)
As much as I wanted to love the new Klipsch party speakers, there are better options. I purchased this with the JBL Encore Essential (which you can pick up for fifty bucks less right now), and the JBL won, hands down. Even the heft and finishes of the JBL are superior. Both speakers are approximately equally loud. However, the JBL had boomier and punchier bass, with twice the number of boost options (2 vs 1) as the Klipsch. But the Klipsch really struggled with the highs with its one teeter - the smaller, doubled tweeters of the JBL are immensely cleaner and clearer. Long story short, as much as I wanted this speaker to be awesome, Klipsch leaves a lot to be desired here compared to JBL.
