Game changer
I use this cleanser with the other cleanser they have, the green one. It’s actually crazy how much it changed my skin routine. I didn’t change my products and only my cleansers and there was a huge improvement. Using them both together feels very nice, there is literally a slight glow on my face after i’m done washing it. The cleanser itself is an oil and helps get my makeup off well. My face is usually oily but my t-zone can be a bit dry, these combined helped my face go back to a “normal” balance. So happy with my purchase, definitely recommend.

Removes Makeup Well
Removes makeup well, and doesn't leave the skin too oily. Didn't cause me breakouts. Just clean skin. However, if you have sensitive eyes and skin, avoid the eye area. I had burning and discomfort around the eyes

One of the Best Cleansing Oils I’ve Used — Gentle, Effective, and Never Greasy
I’m 52 and post-menopausal, with dry, increasingly sensitive skin, and I’ve used a lot of cleansing oils over the years—especially from Korean brands. Some are too heavy, some don’t rinse cleanly, and some leave a film that makes me want to wash my face again immediately. This Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil is one of the few that gets everything right. The texture is beautiful. It’s lightweight and fluid, not thick or overly oily, so it spreads easily across the skin without feeling heavy. It has enough slip to break down makeup and sunscreen quickly, but it doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on top of the skin. What really stands out is how well it emulsifies and rinses clean. As soon as you add water, it turns into a soft, milky consistency and washes away completely. There’s no greasy residue left behind, and my skin feels clean and balanced—not coated or stripped. It removes everything easily, including sunscreen and makeup, without needing to rub or tug at the skin. That’s especially important for me because I’m careful about how much friction I use on my face now. Even though it’s marketed for pore control, it doesn’t feel harsh or drying at all. The heartleaf gives it that calming, skin-friendly feel, and my skin always feels comfortable after using it. No tightness, no irritation—just clean, soft skin. I also like that it works beautifully as part of a double cleanse. It does the heavy lifting in the first step, and then I can follow with a gentle cleanser without feeling like I’m over-cleansing. Another thing worth mentioning is the value. The bottle is a good size, and you only need one or two pumps per use, so it lasts. For the performance you get, it feels like a very solid purchase. Overall, this is an exceptionally well-balanced cleansing oil—effective enough to remove everything, but gentle enough for dry, mature skin. It leaves the skin clean, calm, and comfortable, which is exactly what I want from a first cleanse. This is one of those products that quietly earns a permanent place in the routine because it just works.

Love and Beware
This is a fabulous product but be aware that if you wash you face vigorously and splash ANY oil on your walls it will stain. I love it but hate the spots that I sometimes get. I have tried a little diluted dish soap but it doesn’t really help.

Whoa- I can’t believe this!
I wanted to try this product for a very specific purpose, I have been looking at facial cleansing wipes to use occasionally at bedtime instead of stripping my face by doing a full wash with cleanser and water. I rarely wear makeup, I spend my energy on finding the best skincare products for my skin and sunscreen. So at bedtime usually, I’m just taking off sunscreen and the day’s grime, or if I didn’t go out, the day’s moisturizing products. I tried several brands of moist facial cleansing wipes, and they left behind a greasy film and my face still feels like it needs a full wash. I would never want to skip properly cleansing my skin, and I usually do a full routine while I shower, but it would be nice to be able to occasionally do something quicker and more convenient without sacrificing on quality. I was hoping this product might cleanse well without needing to be rinsed or breaking me out on occasions where I want something quick and convenient, or maybe am travelling and need a basic routine. Wow, this product is not only perfect for that, it actually makes my skin soft and clean, you’d never know I skipped my regular cleansing and just used this Bioderma product with a cotton pad before my nighttime moisturizers/serum. It completely takes off the day’s water resistant facial sunscreen and any sweat or grime and leaves my skin very clean, soft, not dry, and it feels like there is no residue whatsoever. I also don’t break out or get clogged pores, it is just a clean, soft texture. One cotton pad with product is all takes for my entire face to look and feel just as clean as if I had used my regular products (a cleansing balm followed by a foaming cleanser and lots of rinsing with water). I have used this micellar water quite a bit since receiving it, and have not broken out or had clogged pores from “cutting corners” so to speak. And it cleanses very well. I can’t believe how well it cleanses without needing to be rinsed, without irritating my skin, without clogging pores or causing breakouts, and is suitable to use and then put on my serum and nighttime moisturizer. I’ve even used it the next morning to remove the nighttime moisturizers and then put on my SPF. I worried that I was going to cause my skin not to look as good if I didn’t properly wash and rinse with water but this product is so amazing. I have not yet used it to see how well it removes makeup since I rarely wear any, but just for skincare and cleansing without a full wash with regular water, it is so amazing. Not going to sugarcoat it, this is me wanting a convenient routine when I travel but this is also me being lazy on nights when I’m very tired or mornings when I am in a hurry. I consider this one of my few holy grail skincare products. I have picked up a smaller size for travel. I will keep this on hand always. I’m not even looking at moist wipes anymore. (This product is more gentle and leaves no residue as compared to a dermatologist recommended brand of face wipes). I’m most surprised that it cleans my face so thoroughly and that not rinsing does not cause any irritation or breakouts. Just wow. Totally worth the price. I was going to try other brands but this product has been so good there is no need to.
