COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Workplace Training Styles course. This program has been designed to equip you with the knowledge, diagnostic tools and instructional techniques required to understand different learning styles, recognise your personal training style and adapt your delivery to meet the diverse needs of workplace learners. You will explore trainer characteristics and competencies, how to determine whether you are suited to training roles, and how to strengthen your effectiveness through reflective practice and continuous improvement. This course also examines learner-centred and information-centred approaches, instructional style models and methods for designing training that appeals to multiple learning preferences.

This course begins by examining the different types of learning styles and the trainer characteristics and competencies required to support effective workplace learning. You will explore what makes someone “trainer material,” how trainers can perfect their competencies and the characteristics that distinguish highly effective trainers. This section also examines how to identify your own training style, how to increase your effectiveness through adaptation and the role of the instructional styles diagnosis inventory. You will explore how to use the scoring chart, how the instructional styles diagnosis interpretation sheet works and how the components of instructional styles shape the way trainers deliver content.

The next learning area focuses on the major instructional style categories. You will explore the seller training style, the professor training style, the entertainer training style and the coach training style, along with the strengths and limitations each approach presents in workplace learning. This section also examines learner-centred versus information-centred training, the advantages and disadvantages of learner-centred methods and the advantages and disadvantages of information-centred methods. You will explore how to recognise learner-centred behaviour, how to recognise information-centred behaviour and how effective trainers use both approaches strategically depending on training objectives.

A further learning area examines the key elements of a trainer’s style and how to create participant-centred training experiences. You will explore how to address learning styles in workplace training, how to tailor delivery to multiple learning preferences and the ways training initiatives can be designed to appeal to a wide range of learners. This section also examines specific learning styles—including visual learners, auditory learners, reading/writing learners, kinaesthetic learners, logical learners, interactive/social learners and solitary learners—and how trainers can structure activities, materials and delivery methods to support each one.

Another learning area focuses on experiential learning and its broad applicability. You will explore how experiential learning works across a range of learning styles by offering hands-on experience, reflection, conceptual understanding and active experimentation. This section reinforces how experiential methods strengthen engagement, support skill development and provide adaptable learning pathways for diverse learners.

The final learning area examines the development of learning solutions with broad appeal. You will explore how to combine multiple instructional styles, varied learning modes and participant-centred strategies to create inclusive, flexible and effective training environments. This section reinforces the importance of adaptability, self-awareness and learner sensitivity in shaping training outcomes and strengthening trainer capability.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand various learning styles, diagnose your instructional style, apply learner-centred methods, design training that appeals to diverse learners, use experiential strategies effectively and deliver workplace training with confidence, flexibility and professional impact.

Love It!
Color: Orange & Blue Fetch Ball, Size: 4.75 inches (1 Pack)
Perfect for your dog who loves to play ball indoors. It doesn’t bounce & it’s very soft. It lasted a long time for a German Shepherd who loveeess to ball all day.

Just what we needed
Color: Orange & Blue Squirrel, Size: 4.7 inches (1 Pack)
This toy has been great for my dog who eats all her toys! We were having such an issue with all of her toys being so hard that we didn’t want to throw them around our house. This was the perfect solution. She hadn’t eaten through it and it’s nice and soft for fetch without destroying your house!

My lab loves t
Color: Orange & Blue Fumbler, Size: 3 x 8.5 x 9 inches (1 Pack)
This toy is my labs favorite toy. She’s obsessed and we were happy to find a toy she loves that can stay inside with us. The problem is how easily she tears it apart. We have to buy her a new one every month because when she bites into it it breaks down the foam inside, and from there she shreds the roping it’s covered in. We try to stop her, but with how often we play with it it’s inevitable. We have resigned ourselves to buying a new one once a month.

Not Chuck-It Durable
Color: Orange & Blue Squirrel, Size: 4.7 inches (1 Pack), Color: Orange & Blue Squirrel, Size: 4.7 inches (1 Pack)
Sadly only lasted an hour. My dog likes to pull apart toys over the course of a few months, with the exception of Chuck-It toys. They usually never get destroyed by him. I think its a good product but if you are looking for the durability like other toys from Chuck It - just wanted to share this is not the toy for you! Made him happy so not regretful of buying it, just wish it lasted longer. Here is him posing with it after he took bites of it like it was an apple.
