Description:

The Electronic Audio Experiments Citadel is a preamp-style overdrive inspired by the everlasting sounds of British amplifiers from the '60s and '70s. Rather than emulating a specific model, it encompasses our favorite parts of a whole generation of amplifiers: from warm, piano-like clean tones all the way through to bright, clear overdrive.

The Citadel began as a series of experiments on our Model feT pedal. Like any tube amp, there are ample opportunities for modifications. After all, the original Model T was itself a modified take on the Super Bass sound, delivering a distinct variety of the plexi flavor with fuzzy breakup and a huge low frequency punch. So, what if we flavored it our own way? Once Brad completed his "Marsha" prototype, it was on. In a way, you can think of the Citadel as a re-plexi-fied Model T sound, trading low end sludge for a sparkly midrange focus.

Finally, like our Model feT, the Citadel emulates both the preamp and power amp sections of a tube amp to provide a full-bodied overdriven tone that feels powerful and responds wonderfully to boosts, drives, and fuzzes in front. It can be used either a conventional drive pedal or as the workhorse of an ampless signal chain.

Controls:
Bright Gain: turn clockwise to add gain from the parallel Bright channel, which is voiced for chime and sparkle. Adds bite to the drive tone at higher settings. The bright channel is fully muted when this control is at zero.

Normal Gain: turn clockwise to add gain from the parallel Normal channel, which has a dark, full-bodied voicing. Higher settings produce a thicker gain sound. The normal channel is fully muted when this control is at zero.

Bass, Midrange, Treble: 3-band FMV (Fender/Marshall/Vox) style tone stack. Moderately mid scooped and relatively subtle in its operation, but decidedly authentic. Most effective at clean to medium gain settings. For a flatter, more traditional pedal voicing, try Midrange at max with the Bass and Treble at zero.

Master: sets overall output volume. This control is capable of high volumes to guarantee loud operation at the cleanest settings. Use judiciously!

Fantastic upgrade from my original stand. Base is a little bulky, but stand is versatile and sturdy.
Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing, Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing
Amazing value for this stand. I needed a stand with more degrees of freedom than the original one that came with my monitor, and this stand (which was inexpensive relative to the cost of the monitor) was a great purchase. The base of the stand is a little bulky/high, and the soft material on the bottom of it can rub off very easily if you let the stand catch the back edge of your desk. Otherwise though, the stand is extremely easy to install, and it provides far more degrees of freedom for rotation and translation than the original stand for my monitor. Now my monitor is sitting at a comfortable viewing angle closer to my desk tilted slightly upwards toward me. Just keep in mind that you have to tighten down the height and tilt adjustments (the things that would be affected by gravity). So, if you want to adjust those frequently, this stand might not be a great fit for you. That said, it does provide a hidden but easy-to-access spot to store the keys needed to loosen it up to make those adjustments. So, if you need to make those adjustments, you'll always have quick access to the necessary tools. Highly recommended for its price in particular.

      A Solid Monitor Stand
      Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing
This is an extremely sturdy monitor stand. Easily assembled in less than 20 minutes. Instructions were simple. The hex tools came with the stand, but you just need a Nr 2 Phillips Screwdriver for the bolts mounting the VESA plate to the monitor. Take note that this stand has a heavy base to hold larger/heavier monitors up to 22 lbs, but does not take a lot of space. I chose this variant so that it could handle my heavy 24-inch Planar monitor. The included cable management clip was a nice touch. Rotation and tilt feature moves easily and has decent range. I'm very happy with my purchase and it was available for overnight shipment in my region.

WALI Dual Monitor Stand: A Solid, Space-Saving Base Camp
      Size: Dual, Style: Free-Standing
WALI Dual Monitor Stand: A Solid, Space-Saving Base Camp I needed to reclaim some real estate on my crowded desk, and this WALI freestanding mount did the trick. It's a straightforward, no-frills solution that holds my two 24-inch monitors securely and opens up a ton of space underneath. Assembly is intuitive, though having a second pair of hands is helpful when you're attaching the monitors to avoid any tipping. The all-metal construction feels sturdy and reliable. The adjustments are basic but effective—you can raise or lower both monitors together on the central pole and tilt or swivel them individually to get the angles just right. The included cable management clips are a nice touch for keeping things tidy. The key thing to understand with any freestanding mount is balance. If you extend the arms all the way out toward you, the whole unit can get top-heavy and want to tip forward. I keep my monitors positioned more centered over the heavy base, and it's perfectly stable. It's not meant for dramatic, extended poses. For the price, it's fantastic value. It doesn't have the infinite, fluid adjustability of high-end gas-spring arms, but it doesn't need to. It lifts your monitors, frees up your desk, and does its job without any fuss. Bottom Line: An excellent, budget-friendly way to lift two monitors and dramatically increase your usable desk space. Just be mindful of the center of gravity and don't expect ultra-flexible, independent positioning.

Easily supports a pair of 26" displays
      Size: Dual, Style: Free-Standing
I have no complaints with this stand. It is not as nice as the Inland brand sold at MicroCenter, but it does its job. It beats the price of the MicroCenter one, thats for sure. It comes with all the hardware you might need, even long screws and bushings if you have a display that needs them. Assembly was quick. It comes mostly assembled anyway. You have to put the bottom on the post then attach the assembled arms to the post. Setting up can be a challenge but with help, its easy. After mounting the bracket on the back of the displays, you just slide them into the receiver on the arms. Once mounted, adjusting the position is simple, but can take a while as there are several joints which can be positioned to angle the displays as you like. The cord clips do an OK job of cord management, but the clips are not as good as the Inland ones. They do the job, but not as durable. I broke the one that goes on the post, but I tried getting it to hold a wad of wire. My fault. I recommend this stand.
