Plume by Lake Chalice Marlborough Pinot Noir 2017"Newly released flagship label from Eyrie vineyard in the Waihopai Valley. Savoury Pinot Noir with dried herb, grape stem, raspberry, plum and spicy oak flavours. Slightly closed and drying at this stage but with good development potential" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Sep 2020 "Deep, ruby purple with depth, even colour throughout. The bouquet is gently penetrating aromas of sweet herbs, dark fruit entwined with tobacco and spices.

"Newly-released flagship label from Eyrie vineyard in the Waihopai Valley. Savoury Pinot Noir with dried herb, grape stem, raspberry, plum and spicy oak flavours. Slightly closed and drying at this stage but with good development potential" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Sep 2020

"Deep, ruby-purple with depth, even colour throughout. The bouquet is gently penetrating aromas of sweet herbs, dark fruit entwined with tobacco and spices. Medium-full bodied, concentrated core of red berries, red cherries, ripe raspberries, along with black pepper, cinnamon are in harmony, unfolding subtle sweet herbs, earth and underlaying tobacco nuances. The fruit is fresh in flavour with good intensity, supported by a lacy acid line, enhanced freshness and energy flow to linearity. Supple tannin extraction is silky and matured, provides a powdery texture line and velvety mouthfeel. The wine is in excellent shape, ready to drink, will benefit from decanting. Match with lamb loin and duck over the next 6-8 years. Fruit from Waihopai Valley. Handpicked, Clone 667 and 114, whole bunches, fermented to 13.5% alc. Aged in French oak, a small portion of new oak. Unfined, unfiltered" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Aug 2020

Intense aromas of dark fruits which follow through on the palate and combine with plenty of savoury characters. This wine will benefit from time with oxygen and decanting may assist with this. Ageing potential – 10 years and beyond.

Winemakers were able to provide this exceptional fruit for Plume by Lake Chalice. Sourced from the founding Eyrie Vineyard in the Waihopai Valley on the southern side of the Wairau Plain. Winemakers hand harvested the clone 667 from the block, which is one of the smallest parcels from the vineyard, and co-fermented it with clone 114 as whole bunch/clusters. Winemakers kept it on skins post fermentation for a longer maceration. A structured wine with natural balance and extremely fine tannin. It was matured in predominantly older French with just a touch of new.

This wine received no fining and no filtration so it may have a natural sediment from its time aging in bottle. Winemakers didn’t think that Plume needed to

have intervention of these winemaking practices because the quality of the fruit was so good, and we didn’t want to take away from any of that.

Didn’t last as long as I had hoped
Pants were okay for a returned item, but certainly not the best. They lasted a few months before defects got worse. Probably will convince me to just buy new all the time.

Best Pants I've Ever Owned!!
Size: 44W x 34L Big Tall, Color: Navy Blazer
There is not a bad thing to say about these pants. They look great (I get compliments all the time, as well as people asking for information on them), feel great, are super comfortable, and are actually quite durable. I own these in blue and gray and they are by far my favorite pants to where to work. They work for both business-casual, as well as business-formal dress-codes. Buy these pants!
