The 2019 Three Finger Jack Old Vine Zinfandel is bold and concentrated, opening with rich aromas of black raspberry, toasty oak, roasted coffee, and plum. Intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry and spice liven the palate of this bold Zinfandel. Balanced acidity and smooth tannins add complexity and depth to a lingering finish.

Lodi has been grape growing since the 1850s and in most places, the soil is deep loam which is similar to French Rhône region of Châteauneuf du Pape. The soil is full of cobble stones, low on nutrients, and water retention leaving the vines stressed which leads to intensity of color.

Situated 100 miles directly east of the San Francisco Bay at the edge of the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta, a cool blanket slips into the area at night keeping the vineyard temperatures mild in the morning and slowly heats up during the day. The 2019 vintage produced high quality, elegant wines with good color and balanced structure. Fruit development, from bud break through berry set progressed at a moderate pace, with moderate to cool end of season temperatures that allowed the resulting fruit to be packed with brilliant, complex, and concentrated flavors.

Three Finger Jack grapes are picked at peak maturity levels with winemaking assessing vineyards to determine ripeness. Our Winemaker is constantly watching and determining the perfect time to press the wines when color and flavor are most pronounced. The wine is then aged for 10 months in American and French oak barrels to achieve its full potential. Three Finger Jack Old Vine Zinfandel is certified sustainable under Lodi Rules standards and the winery itself is certified under California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.

Lodi lies between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with a classic Mediterranean-like climate featuring warm days and cool evenings. As the Zinfandel Capital of the World, Lodi produces over 40 percent of California’s premium Zinfandel. It has long been recognized globally as the home of highly acclaimed Old Vine Zinfandels, with some plantings dating back to 1888, taken care by 4th and 5th generation winegrowers.

Good quality, but too expensive.
Color: Pathways Design, Size: 10 in
Very good quality. Sturdy. Holds up with heavy, hot food. Food doesn't soak through. The only reason I took off one star is the cost. Way too expensive for paper plates.

Great small soup bowls!
I bought these for a family party for soup. I was nervous they were going to be flimsy and cheap. I was pleasantly surprised how thick and sturdy they are! They were a perfect size for a smaller bowl of soup or chili. We even used them in the microwave for left overs and they held up great! There was no sagging or getting soggy which I was also worried about. They are definitely good quality. They are much better than the Walmart or cheap off brands. I also loved the price. I thought they were a great deal for the quality and quantity. The only con I had was some were hard to pull apart. It was no big deal though. I will definitely buy them again.

I Put 2 Raw Eggs in This Paper Bowl… (Video Included)
These paper bowls are smaller than standard size, and that’s actually exactly why I buy them. They’re perfect for kids’ snacks and portion control without overfilling or wasting food. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they are. These do not crumple easily like cheaper paper bowls, and they hold their shape well even when handled by kids throughout the day. We regularly use them for dry snacks like Goldfish crackers, cereal, and cookies, and a single bowl can last all afternoon through multiple refills. They are also leak-resistant, which I tested more aggressively than most people probably would. I cracked two raw eggs into one bowl, swirled them around, and set a timer. After a minute, I it held up (over my head) without it bending or collapsing. That alone sold me on the durability. The end result - no leaks. Zero. For the price, quality is excellent. If you’re looking for smaller bowls for snacks, portion control, these are a solid choice. These aren’t your typical flimsy paper bowls — they’re surprisingly durable for everyday use. Kitchen Chaos Tested™ — and they passed. ⭐️I included a video of paper bowls vs raw eggs, plus some photos for size reference
