HC-Series Jaws are designed with a "Keronite" ceramic finish which resists the polishing and wear of grip surfaces caused by the intense heat generated when a highly loaded rope accelerates through the jammer during driven hoists.
The coated surface is much more durable than the hardest anodizing and allows faster engagement onto highly loaded line and improved load holding performance with difficult "exotic" line covers such as Aramid, Technora, Codura and Vectran

Missing Part, no customer support.
Missing the bolt that attaches the base to the center post. We contacted the vendor and they responded,
"We want to assure you that all our parts undergo rigorous inspection and careful packaging before shipment. If you could kindly check the box again for any missing parts, it would be greatly appreciated.

Really, like we didn't checked the box?
Responded back to the vendor that we tore the box apart, no bolt. They have gone silent.
Update, vendor has offered a partially refund, guess I'll head to Home Depot and look for a replacement bolt. What a pain.
Went from 1 to 3 stars for at least contacting us.
