The 2010 was very promising in barrel. Now in bottle, it offers a very refined, almost understated nose that has been “tempered” during maturation, even though those cedar and pencil shaving notes are still present and correct. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is very well balanced with a touch of spice on the entry, fine weight in the middle and a classic, rather austere, graphite finish. It might lack the finesse of a top growth, but there is good substance and “solidity” to this Bernadotte. Tasted November 2012."
