LEE Filters Seven5 Deluxe Kit

The LEE Filters Seven5 Deluxe Kit is an all-inclusive bundle that contains four Seven5 neutral density filters, a Seven5 circular polarizer filter, and a Seven5 filter holder.

Three different graduated neutral density filters-a soft-edged graduated neutral density 0.6 and hard-edged graduated neutral density 0.6 and 0.9 filters-permit selective control over exposure and are ideal for working in conditions where only a portion of the frame requires additional exposure, such as when photographing against a bright sky. The Big Stopper solid neutral density 3.0 filter helps to reduce the overall exposure of an image by 10 stops, permitting the use of wider apertures or slower shutter speeds to help convey movement or accentuate a shallow depth of field. The circular polarizer helps to reduce reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces as well as clear up haze and improve color saturation. The included filter holder facilitates the use of these filters, and requires an additional Seven5 adapter ring for attaching to the front of a lens.

Each of the neutral density filters are constructed from a high quality optical resin and measure 3 x 3.5" / 75 x 90mm, while the polarizer is constructed from optical glass and has a proprietary clip-on attachment. All are compatible with the Seven5 Micro Filter System, which is specifically designed for use with smaller interchangeable lens cameras.

• Seven5 Filter Holder

  The LEE Filters Seven5 Filter Holder is a precision-engineered filter holder designed specifically for the Seven5 75 x 90mm filter series. The compact size of the holder and filters is especially suited for compact interchangeable lens cameras, such as mirrorless cameras, and supports the use of two rectangular filters at a time. A dedicated circular polarizer is also available and can be used in combination with other rectangular filters simultaneously. This holder requires the use of a Seven5 adapter ring to attach to lenses with filter ring diameters between 37-72mm.

  Requires a Seven5 adapter ring for attaching the holder to a lens. Adapter rings are available in sizes ranging from 37-72mm.

• Seven5 Circular Polarizer Filter

  The LEE Filters 75 x 90mm Seven5 Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. A polarizer is able to absorb much of this polarized light and, in turn, increase the saturation of skies and foliage, cut through distant haze, and minimize reflections in glass and on water.
  
  A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it integrates a quarter wave plane within a linear polarizing filter. The addition of this helps to circularly polarize reflected light, which enables your camera's autofocus and auto-exposure mechanisms to function properly.
  
  This filter is constructed from a high quality optical glass for both imaging performance and durability. It features a proprietary clip-on design that enables its compatibility with the Seven5 Micro Filter System, which is specifically designed for use with smaller interchangeable lens cameras. It can be attached to the front of the filter holder and rotated independently from any other rectangular filters in use.

  The LEE Filters 75 x 90mm Seven5 0.6 Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density Filter helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.6 density provides a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens.
  
  This filter is constructed from a high quality optical resin for both imaging performance and durability. It is compatible with the Seven5 Micro Filter System, which is specifically designed for use with smaller interchangeable lens cameras. This filter measures 3 x 3.5" / 75 x 90mm.

  The LEE Filters 75 x 90mm Seven5 Big Stopper 3.0 Neutral Density Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing a 10-stop reduction in exposure. This 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.
