Reproduction of Vintage Holiday Chalk VII by Mary Urban

Mary Urban — "Vintage Holiday Chalk VII" is a masterful example of contemporary decorative illustration that draws deeply from the traditions of early 20th-century holiday posters and botanical art. The work aligns with a modern revival of hand-drawn, illustrative styles that emphasize texture and tactile quality, departing from the clean lines of digital design to evoke a sense of warmth and authenticity. Compositionally, the piece employs an asymmetric balance, with the word 'JOY' as the primary focal point, its delicate, flowing script contrasting with the dense, intricate details of the surrounding holly, flowers, and ornaments. The use of negative space is deliberate, creating a sense of depth and allowing the viewer's eye to rest and move through the image. The color palette is a sophisticated study in contrast, with a dominant charcoal background that grounds the composition, allowing the vibrant crimson of the amaryllis and the rich green of the holly to pop with vivid clarity. This deliberate use of a muted, chalky base with a single, saturated accent color is a hallmark of the 'Vintage Poster Style' movement, which celebrates nostalgic aesthetics and the handcrafted. The technique of simulating chalk on a dark surface creates a unique visual texture that is both modern and timeless, a testament to the artist's skill in blending historical reference with contemporary design sensibilities. The piece is not merely a depiction of holiday symbols but a thoughtful composition that speaks to the enduring emotional resonance of the season, making it a compelling and conceptually rich work within the genre of decorative art.

¿Snake oil? At least it worked for me
Style: Modifier, Style: Modifier
Very cheap compared to buying it locally, here in my country. Used the Ceratec with the Leuchtlauf High Tech oil. 143K miles on my 2.5 mk6 Jetta. It started to make some tappet/lifters noise, very minimal but it was there. As soon as I started the engine, and about 30 minutes in , I could clearly hear the difference. How I heard the difference? With the hood closed now I can barely hear the engine, unless I put my ear close to the grille. Now I only hear the working injectors. Totally recommended. Can’t speak about gas consumption, I’ll have to drive 500-1000 miles to speak confidently. Recommended for giving older engines a longer lifespan. Update: After 15 days or so, and about 150-200miles later, I noticed my Jetta’s engine feels lighter and smoother. No placebo effect, it’s just there. Since I bought two Ceratec bottles, I used the second bottle on a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with the Mivec 2.0 engine. These engines are quite noisy, specially the injection noises, and I had a very concerning lifters ticking. I did my oil change yesterday, and today the ticking is gone, all I did was use Liquimolys engine flush, Valvoline oil and the Ceratec. I’ll post an update if I get better fuel economy and smoothness on my Mitsu.

Durable and well fitting
Durable and well fitting. I drive a Honda Accord 2014 and when the under engine covers started falling off I used these to replace the ones that came off. They work well and the prying tool made replacing the retainers easier.

This product has many different sizes making it easy to fit clips in other parts of the car.
I was working on my grandson Honda. It was missing the plastic clips to hold the fender liners in place. This worked great and helped hold the fender in place. I used the puller tool many times on other plastic parts on the car.
