RacingLine’s Sport Springs are now available for the popular Cupra Formentor.
These springs have been carefully developed for the 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI 4Drive models only, meaning that your Formentor will still ride beautifully yet with a noticeably more dynamic handling edge.
They give a drop of around 30mm - the perfect ride-height without those SUV wheelarch gaps. In other words, just how it should have come from the factory.

Suitable for: 
- Cupra Formentor 4x4
These will not fit the 2wd Formentor Models.

RacingLine’s Sport Springs are now available for the popular Cupra Formentor.

 

These springs have been carefully developed for the 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI 4Drive models only, meaning that your Formentor will still ride beautifully yet with a noticeably more dynamic handling edge. They give a drop of around 30mm - the perfect ride-height to get rid of those SUV wheelarch gaps. In other words, just how it should have come from the factory.

RacingLine’s Sport Springs replace the car's four stock springs with re-engineered, progressive-rate and slightly shorter Sport Springs. The springs lower the Formentor by around 30mm front and rear (depending on model and spec) in order to preserve the wheel travel needed for ideal ride & handling. Go lower or stiffer than RacingLine’s springs and your car tends to bounce and crash as the dampers are mismatched to spring-rate, and the springs themselves run out of travel.

 

The result? The vehicle's high center of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for better dynamics, whilst maintaining the ride quality and comfort of your car.

 

Meanwhile, the car's SUV appearance is subtly transformed. By getting rid of those nasty SUV wheelarch gaps, it'll look like it always should have from the factory!

 

RacingLine’s extensive development program has specified progressive rate springs to preserve the ride quality in normal use, but then stiffen the rates at the ends of the travel. This progressive-rate spring construction means the spring rate in the middle of travel is very similar to standard. It's only towards the end of the spring's travel (so, when braking or cornering hard) that RacingLine have engineered the spring to stiffen up. It's this progressive-rate spring design that is the secret to such good ride quality combined with dynamic performance.

 

The Sport Springs are developed to be fully compatible with cars fitted with Cupra’s switchable DCC (adjustable chassis control) dampers.

 

RacingLine’s Sport Springs are high quality, European-made springs, from the same factory that produces many of the OEM springs.

Although this has nothing to do with the product, it arrived a day later than previously stated. Making me have to create a makeshift room divider the day it was actually needed. When the product arrived it arrived in a box that showed no evidence of damage. Once opened, divider was found inside a plastic cover. Great protector for dust or scratching. The divider was fully assembled so there was nothing for me to do but remove it from packaging and use it where needed. After further inspection the divider was not only cheap and flimsy looking it was absolutely unstable. It would wobble and appears to have been assembled in a rush making some panels crooked. I noted significant damage to the bottom portion of some of the panels both front and back. It does not feel like an item worth the price. The color is as advertised and the product had no smell. The sizing was accurate.
