Foredom Chisel Carving Kit with LX MotorComponents: 1. These permanent magnet motors are specifically designed for high torque/low speed applications, offering more power for jobs like stone setting, wax modeling, and pearl drilling. M.LX, M.LXM, and M.LXB ball bearing motors feature full power and torque from start up and throughout the entire speed range up to 5,000 rpm. They are ideal for use with Foredom's drill presses. They also are well matched with the H.18, H.15 and H.15D Quick Change and Hammer Handpieces for stone setting. It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and our standard 39" long key-tip shafting for connecting to any of Foredom's interchangeable, quick disconnect handpieces.
2. C.EMX Speed Control:
Foredoms permanent magnet motors require the use of a C.TXR, C.SXR, or C.EMX speed control. Damage will result if the motor is connected to any other speed control.
This table top speed control is constructed of heavy duty plastic with durable solid state electronics. It has a dial control for precise speed settings, as well as good repeatability of previous settings. The C.EMX-1 has special electronics that converts AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current- the type required by the motor. It also has a special plug that fits the motor's shielded plug.
For use with 115 Volt M.TX, M.TXB, M.TXH, M.LX, M.LXB, M.LXH and M.LXBH motors. 5" long, 5-7/8" wide, 2-3/4" high, 2 lb /1 kg packaged wt. It is interchangeable with Foredom's C.TXR-1 and C.SXR-1 controls.
3. H.50 Chisel Handpiece:
For use with 115 Volt M.TX, M.TXB, M.TXH, M.LX, M.LXB, M.LXH and M.LXBH motors. 5" long, 5-7/8" wide, 2-3/4" high, 2 lb /1 kg packaged wt. It is interchangeable with Foredom's C.TXR-1 and C.SXR-1 controls.
3. H.50 Chisel Handpiece:
Foredom's chisel handpiece gives a power assist to carving projects in all types of wood, plastic, and plaster. This handpiece has a contoured body design that features a rugged plastic barrel and tapered aluminum ends. The easy to maintain chisel handpiece is recommended for use at low speed with Series TX and LX motors and in forward rotation only with Series SR motors. Handpiece attaches to any flex shaft machine with a standard key tip shaft. The Chisel Handpiece must be used only in the forward motor direction.
Recommended Speed:
- Optimum Speed Range- 3,000-10,000 rpm.
- Max. Operating Speed- 18,000 rpm.
Handpiece specifications: 6" long, 1" in diameter, 4.6 oz, 6.65 oz packaged wt.
5. Flexible shaft greaseMaintenance: After every 200 hours of use you should clean and lubricate this handpiece. The old grease must be cleaned off of the interior cam chamber and replaced with new lubricant. If you do not have Foredom Grease (Part No. MS10008), it is available in our web store under Supplies and Parts - Lubrication- All Lubricants. Follow the instructions that came with your handpiece or click on the link for step by step maintenance instructions.

Poor formatting on kindle version
Format: Kindle
Five stars for the book, 0 stars for the formatting of this kindle version. Every word that contains a double "l", such as "all", "Stillness", "hill", etc. omits the second "l" in the word. Universal y. Kil. Al. Germ cels. It is extremely annoying, and one or more on nearly every page. Is it possible to swap this one for a kindle version with better formatting?

Intense and Informative
Format: Paperback
This is some intense and easily consumed deep reading material, compelling us to gaze uncomfortably at and into the unflattering challenges which continue to face the African-American collective "Community," and delves head-on into examining & explaining how the "HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE" of Black People in the United States, those who were the unfortunate descendants of the Trans-Atlantic African Slave Trade, has both simultaneously "Strengthened" and "Hindered" hindered life for this segment of the North American population across the Generations, to where many of its effects are still being felt even to this very Day.
This is a powerful companion to Dr. Carol Anderson's excellent book on on the Societal struggles of Blacks in America - "WHITE RAGE: The Unspoken Truth Of Our Racial Divide"

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome
Format: Hardcover
Very well done book that does not make Black People feel angry nor White People guilty but from a gentle and skillful psychological point of view the book will "have you considered the impact of this or that upon both races as the result of Slavery in America?" A folk-like homespun way of tell these truths that masks the clinical questions that all trained psychologist asked..."and how would (does) that make you feel for all of us who ever sat on a couch?" The book made me consider the psychological impact of daily slave life with a WOW again and again as I never thought of the situations the book made me consider. The shared dehumanization of both whites and blacks due to the slave experience which goes a long way towards explaining to me why we as a country cannot truly discuss slavery's impact today. I found it self-healing and very necessary for all, both black and white, but especially for the victims of the African Holocaust my terminology not hers. I thought Dr. Leary PhD, did an excellent job and a high school or even a 6 grader could read the material without difficulty.
