Sleek, precise, and built for serious brewers — the Acaia Pearl Model S is a smart scale that tracks weight (to 0.1 g), time, and real-time flow rate. Its large dot-matrix LED screen lets you follow step-by-step brew guides, receive voice or sound cues, and monitor your pour live — all right on the scale. With Bluetooth connectivity, it pairs seamlessly with Acaia’s Brewguide app, making it ideal for both mastering recipes and sharing them.

Key Differences vs. the Regular Pearl:

  • Higher Capacity: The Pearl S supports up to 3,000 g, compared to the original Pearl’s 2,000 g. 

  • Display: Uses a dot-matrix LED screen to show detailed info (recipes, flow rate), instead of the Pearl’s simpler 8-digit LED.

  • Brew Modes: Adds Flow-rate Mode, Espresso Mode, Countdown Timer, and a Brewguide Mode — not available on the original. 

  • Brewguide Integration: Exclusive to this model — you can upload recipes from the app and follow them without keeping your phone open. 

  • Build & Battery: Heavier/more robust construction with extra metal reinforcement, plus a larger battery (3.7 V 2200 mAh) for longer life.

  • Sound Feedback: Offers beeps, melodies, or voice notifications; the regular Pearl only does beeps. 

  • Charge Port: Uses mini-USB / USB-C depending on version; the Pearl 2021 uses USB-C (but the original Pearl uses older port).
