Modern Case vs Modern Leather Case?
Same slim profile and 8 ft drop protection. The Modern Case uses a satin PET backplate (smooth, fingerprint-resistant, modern aesthetic). The Modern Leather Case uses real leather (Horween or Nomad) for the heritage look that develops patina. Pick Modern for the cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic; Modern Leather for the leather story.
Modern vs Rugged Case — what's the difference?
Modern is the slim daily case (8 ft drop). Rugged is the more heavy-duty version (15 ft drop) with grooved TPU bumpers and lay-flat corner protection. Pick Modern for everyday use; Rugged if you regularly drop your phone or need outdoor durability.
Will the satin finish scratch?
It's scratch-resistant for daily wear. Satin PET handles pocket abrasion, key contact, and surface placement well. Heavy abrasion (sandpaper, sharp tools) will eventually mark any plastic, but normal use stays clean.
