One of the difficulties with infections in the urinary tract, especially after the use of antibiotics, is to repopulate the mucous lining with beneficial organisms to out-compete pathogenic ones such as E. coli. With human females this can be done by using a probiotic capsule as a suppository and inserting it into the vagina. Try that with your female dog! However, by using a couple of sprays two or three times per day in the area of the vagina, or even the penis of a male dog, you place probiotic organisms in close proximity to the urethra so they can migrate up and repopulate the entire urinary tract. Urinary Tract Infections

Spray vagina, or head of penis on male dogs, four times per day to help eliminate urinary tract infections or twice daily for prevention of future infections. The bacteria in the spray will naturally work their way up the urethra into the urinary tract. It is much easier to get important beneficial bacteria to inhabit and protect the bladder and urinary tract from infecting organisms this way than through the digestive tract.

Topical Injuries

For surface scrapes and cuts one or two sprays on affected area twice daily will help speed healing.

Smelly Rolls

When your dog rolls in something smelly, remove the bulk with a wet wash cloth or paper towels. Then spray area lightly with Topical Probiotic Spray to let bacteria digest remaining waste on fur. This spray works well for between bath clean up as well, just spray two or three sprays over coat on dogs and cats.

Incontinence

An effective cleanser for urinary or fecal incontinence issues to prevent bacterial infection on skin or to prevent urinary tract infections which are often caused by E. coli from the digestive tract traveling up the urinary tract.
