The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick, while the black color resembles the darkness of the woods which usually serve as the main stage for the Brothers Grimm’s folklore. In addition, the wave-like pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel’s hair while also resembling roots, since the Brothers Grimm viewed their linguistic work as "research into roots". The cap is crowned by the Montblanc Emblem in precious resin. The platinum-coated clip, reminiscent of a knobby piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the silhouette of the profile of the Brothers Grimm when turned. As an homage to the magic of storytelling, the handcrafted 18K solid gold nib with rhodium coating bears the flames of a fire, which was often the setting where folklore stories were passed on.Limited Edition 2904/9800

Favorite toddler toothpaste

I bought this for my 18month old who has all his teeth already. It works great. The smell is pleasant, the taste isn’t harsh, and the texture isn’t as thick as most toothpastes - perfect for a toddler. I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and have not noticed any irritation. He enjoys it about as much as any 18 month will, ha! It’s just as effective as fluorinated toothpaste. You get what you pay for. It’s a big tube!

Good flavor, not as full of tubes as I expected.

My kids have LOVED brushing their teeth with this. They had been fighting to let us brush for a while, so it was nice to find something they liked. My husband and I have been using the mint flavor, and it’s been good as well. We like the ingredients, and the texture is nice. The tubes both felt like they could have fit more, so I took off a star for size/value.

Very effective!

I switched my son to this toothpaste and it has been great! I haven’t noticed whitening, but his teeth do look good and clean after he has brushed. He loves the flavor. And he is one to complain about “spicy” toothpaste. This toothpaste has never been whined about in my household. In fact, switching to this toothpaste has made brushing his teeth simpler because he enjoys the flavor so much. I have noticed it doesn’t foam up like other toothpaste’s do.
Another side story, and probably the biggest thing, I think this is actually shrinking my sons cavities. His pediatric dentist told me he would need fillings before his teeth could fall out at 12 (12 year molars). I saw the cavities on the xrays. A year later, the cavities are smaller. And the dentist said if things can maintain this way, there will be no need for fillings! He does brush morning and night, and often after lunch because we homeschool and he has that ability. But I’m just thrilled that my son could potentially avoid this procedure!
