About the Workshop:

This virtual workshop is taught by CBA instructor Iviva Olenick.

Participants in this workshop will learn how to use textile-specific materials to make several types of book covers and structures with fabric and paper. After watching the instructor demonstrate how to use lightweight and heavyweight fusible stabilizers, how to embroider on the top layer of paper or fabric only covering the interfacing, and how to add inside pages, participants will make sample book covers with heavyweight interfacing, trying all of the demonstrated techniques. The instructor will also demonstrate how to embroider on book pages while making sure that both front and back of pages are legible. Participants will practice this, making aesthetic choices as they stitch. Finally, participants will experiment with applying skills and materials from the three previous sessions, including incorporating naturally dyed fabrics from session 1, plant-printed and stamped paper and fabric from session 2, and embroidered paper and fabric from session 3.

The three previous classes are not required but recommended. This workshop is the final installment in a four part series which also covers natural dyeingkitchen printing, and embroidery.

PRICE DOUBLED IN 2 WEEKS
Size: 18 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 18 Count (Pack of 1)
I rescue standard poodles mostly. I also train service dogs. My pack of "poodles" has all sizes and ages. This is not for profit , it is to save lives. Until 2 weeks ago -date now is: 08/17/2022- the price of these were around 20.00. My dogs all loved them. I have a buffet table with lots of storage I use to store the treats and it has room on top for all the treat jars. In the afternoon or evening, they'd get a hard, chewy treat like ears. Standard poodles love to chew . They could finish off one of the ears in minutes. These treats are quiet large and thin. They do smell but they are natural foods. NO WAY can I afford over 40.00 for 18 ears. Did pigs go exttict? Did they quit growing ears? How could They raise the price to cost double the amount? I looked at other ears on Amazon & the other brand i get which starts with a p- has not gone up. Paws- clipping. They have some Bizarre names so guess I'll just double my order for them. I have way too many dogs to give treats to. I want to be fair to all of them. They are my kids & will get the best I can offer. I did wait a few weeks before writting this. I also dropped my Sub & Save with this.

Finally a Toy My Pitbull Hasn’t Destroyed in 5 Minutes
Color: Blue+Red, Color: Blue+Red
I have a 65 lb pitbull who destroys most toys almost immediately, so I’m always skeptical when products claim to be “indestructible.” Most toys last maybe a few minutes in my house before pieces are everywhere. These have actually held up surprisingly well. The material feels durable and thick enough to handle really aggressive chewing, and so far my dog hasn’t been able to destroy them like he does with most other balls and squeaky toys. That alone makes these worth it to me. I also really like the size. They’re large enough that I don’t have to constantly worry about him accidentally swallowing them or choking while playing, which is a huge plus for bigger dogs. The squeaker inside also keeps him interested longer since he usually gets bored quickly with toys that don’t make noise or bounce around well. If you have a strong chewer or larger dog and you’re tired of replacing destroyed toys constantly, these are definitely worth trying.
