COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Preventing & Managing Workplace Stress course. This program equips you with the knowledge, strategies, and practical tools needed to understand stress, prevent unnecessary strain, and manage physical, emotional, and cognitive pressures in modern work environments. You will explore what is meant by stress management, what stress is, examples of stress-related conditions, and the different types of stress—including the concept of good stress and when it can be beneficial. This course also examines the importance of downshifting, why you should recognise how hard you work, and the many places carcinogens can be found in workplaces. You will explore how you might be affected by workplace carcinogens and why pursuing what you love is a critical foundation for long-term wellbeing.

This course begins by examining lifestyle, workload, and environmental adjustments that reduce stress. You will explore why reducing the commute matters, ways to shorten or streamline your commute, and how to reduce your workweek when possible. This section also examines why renegotiating vacation or leave time supports mental recovery, how to rid yourself of e-stress, and how to eliminate energy drains that deplete focus and resilience. You will also explore how to restructure your finances to reduce long-term pressure and how to move or stimulate your life-force energy through physical activity and supportive practices.

The next learning area focuses on restorative and therapeutic approaches to stress reduction. You will explore why you should get a massage, the types of massage most widely practised, and the benefits of chiropractic care. This section also examines osteopathic manipulation, how to work your own pressure points, and simple pressure-point exercises you can apply immediately. You will learn why aromatherapy may be beneficial and how sensory-based strategies can complement stress management.

A further part of the program examines nutrition, physical activity, and emotional regulation. You will explore why you should avoid overeating, behaviours typical of compulsive eating, and how mindful nutrition supports stress reduction. This section also explains how to make stress-fighting endorphins through physical movement, ways to adopt an active lifestyle, and why yoga can be a powerful tool for resilience. You will learn how and why meditation provides stress relief, examples of everyday meditative activities, and how to integrate these into your routine to improve balance and clarity.

The final learning area focuses on rest, recovery, and sustainable wellbeing practices. You will explore strategies for getting more sleep, the role of restorative rest in emotional regulation, and how sleep quality affects mood, immunity, and cognition. This section ties together lifestyle, behavioural, environmental, and therapeutic strategies to help you build a long-term stress management approach that fits your personal needs and work environment.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand the sources and impacts of stress, apply practical techniques to reduce workplace pressures, make healthier lifestyle decisions, and integrate evidence-aligned practices that support resilience, energy, and emotional wellbeing in both your professional and personal life.

Its ok.
I purchased 2 jars. 1 for the coffee beans and the other for ground coffee. The vacuum suction system is just ok.

Functional, glass canister.
I like the design, I really like the fact that it’s glass, not plastic. Easy to extract the air out, I don’t have to do an extended work out to pump the valve, easy release. The only thing is the part when I need to open the unit to get my coffee beans out. All you need to do is just twist the lid, the glass container makes me a little nervous, but just grab from the bottom part to open it and it’s fine! I’m happy with it, I might buy again to store more coffee!! Great product though!!

Fits Sage Bambino Plus
Works flawlessly with Sage (Breville) Bambino Plus. It even comes with a straight basket which is an upgrade for the machine! People complaining about the magnets need to use their brains to turn first, pull second.

Really Cool
This is actually a well made portafilter. It was such a good idea to be able to have a nice WDT tool built in that doesn’t take up some extra counter space or anything. It minimizes clutter and just was a good idea so you always have it handy. Definitely would recommend.
