Take your HPI Venture to the next level with the BowHouse RC Low CG Battery Tray and Rear Chassis Brace. Designed specifically to lower your rig’s center of gravity and improve performance on the trail, this dual-purpose upgrade not only provides a secure and stable battery mounting solution, but also reinforces your rear chassis for enhanced durability under load.
Crafted with trail-tested design in mind, the Low CG Battery Tray helps reduce body roll and improve crawling stability by relocating the battery lower in the chassis. This upgrade is a must for serious RC rock crawlers who want to improve both balance and real-world performance.
The included Rear Chassis Brace replaces the stock battery tray’s mounting structure, providing added rigidity to your chassis while maintaining compatibility with your factory shock towers and link mounts.
Installation Tips:

Before installation, use a 3/32" drill bit to clean excess material from mounting holes under the tray’s front edge and the four corners of the Rear Chassis Brace.

Remove the stock battery tray by taking out the screws securing the rear shock towers. These will be reused for the new chassis brace.

Remove the rear upper link mount screws and replace them with M3x20mm screws (not included) to secure links without extending into the skid.

Loosen the rear-most screws on the chassis rails and remove one rear bumper screw and body post to allow removal of the stock tray.

Insert the new Low CG Battery Tray and rear cross brace—ensure tabs under the tray fit into the c-channel rails and screw holes align with the upper link mounts.

Tighten M3x30mm screws to secure the tray and install your preferred Velcro battery strap (not included).
