  • Orpiment is a deep colored, orange/ yellow arsenic sulfide mineral found in volcanic fumaroles, low-temperature hydrothermal veins, and hot springs and is formed both by sublimation and as a byproduct of the decay of another arsenic mineral, Realgar. Orpiment takes its name from the Latin auripigmentum (aurum, "gold" + pigmentum, "pigment") because of its deep-yellow color.
  • Orpiment, Réalgar, Barytine, Calcite are in the category of Sulfide Minerals.
  • Orpiment was traded in the Roman Empire and was used as a medicine in China, even though it is very toxic. It has been used as fly poison and to tip arrows with poison. Because of its striking color, it was of interest to alchemists, both in China and the West, searching for a way to make gold. It also has been found in the wall decorations of Tutankhamun's tomb and ancient Egyptian scrolls, and on the walls of the Taj Mahal.
  • For centuries, orpiment was ground down and used as a pigment in painting and for sealing wax, and was even used in ancient China as a correction fluid. It was one of the few clear, bright-yellow pigments available to artists until the 19th century. However, its extreme toxicity and incompatibility with other common pigments, including lead and copper-based substances such as verdigris and azurite, meant that its use as a pigment ended when cadmium yellows, chromium yellows and organic dye-based colors were introduced during the 19th century.
  • Measures approx. 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"
  • Origin is Peru

Chuckit!! Just Chuck it!!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Chuck it further than your skinny little arms can chuck it. Doggo loved this, I loved this and when we were done Doggo promptly hid it under the porch so I couldn’t take it from him. It’s not a squeaky toy, it’s for fetch. You wing it out toward the yard and it flies, bounces if it’s lucky then is attacked in an adoring manner. We like it!!

My GSD's Emotional Support Balls
My GSD has three of these and they are undoubtedly his emotional support balls. I bought these so that the medium ones wouldn't get stuck under our couch and make him spiral. He takes one everywhere, it keeps him company in his bowl when he's eating, it gets dropped in my shower, it goes potty with him, on walks, it falls out of his mouth when he falls asleep. These are the equivalent of a GSD pacifier. Best Purchase I've made hands down. Plus they don't get stinky after being constantly covered in dog drool and if they get dirty/ muddy/ hairy a decent rinse will do the trick . They last a LONG time with my super chewer, they are firm enough so that when he gets a good chew on it it doesn't fall apart. He has endless hours of obsession logged into these balls.

Great Durability
Even my heavy chewer GSDs haven’t destroyed them…yet. Easier on your shoulder if you buy the ball thrower.

Dog loves this ball.
Great ball. The dog loves chasing it and it bounces in different directions so she can’t anticipate where it goes. So far she hasn’t been able to chew through the ball. She Is a medium sized dog.
