From Anouseka Freedman: A new love for the ice walkers, the Emperor Penguins ???? ❄️ a few stills between filming… Never in my whole life did I think I would get the privilege to visit an emperor penguin colony. This was one of the most memorable and special days of my life and seeing these animals brought nothing but joy. I loved watching the intricate family behaviours and the clumsiness of the chicks was beyond cute. Falling in love with a different side of the ocean in this world of ice has really opened my eyes to a unique world where humans are aliens. So lucky to come to the white continent and thanking the ice and animals for having me. Shot on @lumix_au @lumix G9II and 100-400mm lens I would like to note we stayed 30metres or more away from the colony at all times. Some adults did approach us out of curiosity but we would let them continue on their path and stay the required distances away from the animals and of course all quarantine regulations were abided by.
