MA-510TR AIS Transponder with Antenna & 4.3" Display

This Class B AIS Transponder with GPS navigation function and NMEA 2000™ actively notifies other vessels of your exact position and as a Dual channel receiver, provides AIS information (both Class A and Class B signals) of other AIS-equipped vessels simultaneously.

Large 4.3" color TFT LCD, the backlit screen gives real-time vessel traffic information for navigation and collision avoidance. The compact size means that it can be installed in a convenient place.

Key collision-risk management functions simplify AIS operation and a collision alarm with an external alarm connection gives extra warning of potential impacts.  Leisure, fishing, or cruising vessels can stay safe and informed on the open sea with this feature-packed transponder.

Features:

  • Large color display - 4.3"
  • Individual DSC (Digital Select Call) calling with a compatible VHF radio
  • USB connectivity
  • Multi-lingual user interface (English, French, Indonesian, Spanish, and Vietnamese)
  • Built-in GPS Navigation function guides users to waypoints or AIS targets
  • Silent mode allows the radio to operate securely and privately with the silent mode function.  Switch off the AIS transmitter to temporarily stop sending out position location.  Other AIS signal reports art still received when silent mode is on.  Keep fishing spots private from other vessels by utilizing silent mode.
  • Collision Alarm Function - When vessels come into the CPA or TCPA range, the vessel's icon blinks and a warning sound is emitted on the plotter display (when connected to external audio equipment).
  • Anchor Watch Alarm - an alarm is set off when the vessel is drifting when anchored.
  • Man Overboard - when users receive a Man Overboard (MOB) signal, the MA-510TR can set the MOB as a destination.
  • NMEA Connectivity - The MA-510TR can connect to both NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183
  • End-user programmable with MMSI and ship information.

a nice retrospective of the art of the Deus Ex Universe
Format: Hardcover
Overall, a nice retrospective of the art of the Deus Ex Universe. However, there are areas where it could have further excelled. More in-game, non-character model, non-landscape art would have been great (they give you a few pages of in-game posters and the like, I would have preferred that they covered more of this). There is a smattering of things that were designed but not used, I would have loved to see that explored as it's own section in the book. We know that they had planned, at one time, to have things take place in a few more locales in Human Revolution, it would have been great to see some of the early concept art for those sections. Neither of the mobile Deus Ex games were touched upon at all in the book. Granted there isn't much material that could be covered with them, but nonetheless, a page or two about them would have been nice. My biggest complaint? The book is just barely too tall to fit on my bookshelf.

Lovely
Format: Hardcover
Packaging was fine. BooK was near perfect condition. As for the book, it’s absolutely beautiful. It doesn’t include all of the concept art I’ve been able to find online but it does have a bunch and I love having it in this physically accessible place. It’s bigger than I thought it would be in terms of height and width and thicker than I thought it would be. Very happy. The art for this video game series is absolutely stunning.

Fantastic art book. As good as the first one.
I love the Airbender animation series. I can still remember the strong nostalgia I had while watching the first episode of The Legend of Korra: Book 1 Air, recalling all the characters from the previous series, and watch how time has passed and given us a new generation to look upon. The Legend of Korra: Book 1 - Air, The Art of the Animated Series is a nice addition to that experience. It's as good as the first art book . The cover art is different from the original product image. It has Korra looking rather too serious. The book features development art from all the 12 episodes in Book One: Air. There are designs for the main characters, followed by the Republic City and its inhabitants and then we have art from each episode in order. Character designs form the bulk of the book. There's Korra in different outfits, including those from Pro-bending gear, and also the cute four-year-old Korra. There are lots of line art and also coloured versions for the characters. Other characters are Tenzin and his family, Lin Beifong, Amon, Katara, and about most of the characters that appear in the episodes. The environment art are beautiful. The buildings and sets have a mix of oriental, industrial and European style. The world has changed since Aang was the Avatar. You'll see some connection to the past, for example, with Avatar Aang Memorial Island. Overall, the world feels very different because it has evolved. My favourite piece is the aerial painting of Air Temple Island that appears towards the end. The last few pages have some pretty cool miscellaneous art, such as the classic Avatar characters in their adult form, and also other characters drawn in non-animation style. Throughout the book, commentary is provided by creators Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko and director Joaquin Dos Santos. They give illuminating insight to the designs and stories. Highly recommended to fans of the series, and those who like animation or character art. It's one of my 2013 favourite artbooks. (See more pictures of the book on my blog.
