Absolutely breathtaking and rare necklace from Salvador Dali x Joies by Margot Townsend, 2002. This high-end, authorized reproduction is fantastic and was produced in extremely limited quantities. Margot Townsend was tasked with recreating some of Salvador Dali's most treasured works of jewelry. This on is the 'The Tree of Life' necklace, originally made in 1949, described as "Sculptured gold and diamonds, with a gold face of anthropomorfic inspiration" by Dali himself. This particular version of the necklace is 14K gold plated, with captivating crystal rhinestones throughout. Branches and leaves twist and turn to create the neck spanning collar. Dangling from the center- two light blue see-through resin drops, a nose, and a mouth, creating a face. A small ball also dangles from the moth and is signed 'Dali'. Concealed clasp closure at the back of the neck. The underside is signed 'Dali Joies (c) FG-SD 2002'. Comes with original box and packaging.
