The FX Panthera MK2 .30 CAL 600mm variant balances compact maneuverability and high-velocity slug-pushing performance. Built on the upgraded Dynamic Block platform, this mid-length configuration features a tightened barrel-to-action interface and an over-the-barrel plenum system to maximize shot-to-shot consistency without the front-heavy feel of the larger 700mm builds.
Core Technical Specifications
The standard factory layout for the 600mm platform delivers standard precision metrics across multiple calibers:
- Barrel Length: 600mm standard length.
- Plenum Volume: 156cc to 163cc over-the-barrel Dynamic Plenum.
- Air Capacity: 300cc rear-mounted carbon fiber bottle.
- Maximum Fill Pressure: 250 BAR (3,625 PSI).
- Regulator System: Externally adjustable AMP MKII regulator (operating up to 170 BAR).
- Optics Mounting: Integrated 30 MOA Picatinny top rail.
- Chassis Rail: Monolithic lower Arca-Swiss and M-LOK rail featuring built-in barricade stops.
- Muzzle Thread: Standard 1/2" UNF for moderators.
- Total Weight: ~8.8 lbs (~4.0 kg) un-scoped.
Key Upgrades on the MK2 Platform
- Quick Set Trigger: The legacy trigger is replaced with a 3-in-1 adjustable system first showcased on the FX Impact M4, allowing match, hunter, or tactical configurations.
- Rigid Monolithic Rail: Features an updated, extended one-piece chassis rail with built-in slots for internal weights and threaded points to fix balancing weights.
- Enhanced Breech Tolerance: Designed with tighter block-to-barrel machining tolerances to completely eliminate point-of-impact (POI) shifts due to weather or harsh handling.
- Higher Ergonomics: Includes a redesigned rear assembly that offsets the cheekpiece upward for clearer scope sightlines and offers built-in QD sling attachment points.
Available 600mm Configurations & Calibers
- .177 Caliber: Built primarily with standard Smooth Twist X (STX) Superior liners.
- .22 Caliber: Ships with Superior Heavy STX liners Optimized for precision slugs.
- .25 Caliber: Utilizes the Superior Heavy STX system to bridge long-range pellet and hunting slug uses.
- .30 Caliber: Engineered with increased port geometry for high foot-pound energy transfer.
Tuning and Upgradability
Because the Panthera MK2 .30 cal platform shares architecture with the Dynamic and BenchMark platforms, the 600mm platform remains fully modular. Shooters looking for ultimate rigidity can swap the standard assembly for the 20mm heavy solid-steel Bull Barrel kit, which threads directly into the Dynamic Block for optimal harmonics. Converting between calibers or extending to a 700mm setup requires modular FX barrel housing sleeves, a matching length shroud, a caliber-specific probe, and brass transfer ports.

Piece of Junk
Style: ET-5150, Set: ET PRO FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
This printer worked fine until about a week ago. It jammed six paper jambs in a row, and then it did not recognize the 8.5x11 paper that I had been using from day one. The copy feeder on top of the printer quit, and when it did work, it fed the copy in almost sideways. I have a box of ink for this copier, and I would like to shove it back to the supplier for the wonder piece BS equipment.
I have bought a black ink cartage for my nearly 8-year-old Brother Copier and my office is back in business.
Epson ECOTANK Pro ET-5150 is not ready for prime time by a cartage machine.

Great printer, save money on ink; Most issues are very easy to fix
Style: ET-5150, Set: ET PRO FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
I convinced my boss to buy my first 5150 about 3 years ago and our second one earlier this year. I am happy with my purchase. I have barely had to swap out the maintenance box, and they are cheap anyways. The print quality is quite good, just need to run some cleaning protocols to fix most of them. We did have to open up a printer for some deeper cleaning but there were videos online to fix it.
The most common issue is paper jams, but I print a lot and its pretty rare if the paper isn't janky. You can also easily fix by pulling the printer forward and taking off a panel in the back to fish out paper.

Good value
Style: ET-5150, Set: ET PRO FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
I think 3.5 would be about right.
I had a Canon color laser printer that I loved! The problem was that after 6 years it started to need name brand toner at $45/each. I decided to co for something that would print cheaper, because it turns out I don't print as much as I used to, so having a commercial printer is no needed.
I like the tanks a lot and they are super easy to fill. The first fill does not use a whole bottle, but then it settles and the next day you can top off the tanks with the rest of the bottle.
The print quality is good. I have printed a few hundred pages and it is working as it should, and the tanks don't seem to have dropped but a touch. Much cheaper than toner for sure.
The weird thing is that when you scan, it does not know that there is paper in the feeder, so you hear the flat bed scanner run first, and then the tray starts feeding. Also, it prints on both sides, but it does not scan both sides automatically with the feeder, you have to flip each sheet. This is a serious bummer for me as I do a lot of 2-sided scanner.
So far so good. If things go south I will revise.

18 months and going strong
Style: ET-5150, Set: ET PRO FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN, Style: ET-5150, Set: ET PRO FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
Edit 1/18/26: 2 years in, and I just topped off the ink. I used the extra bottle of black that came with it, and bought a set of color ink for the first time. Love it.
Original: I’ve had this printer for 18 months and love it. I haven’t even had to refill the ink yet! I print a fair amount, not constantly, but I homeschool and print things for church and scouts also. I’m able to connect easily from my Windows laptop, Mac desktop, and iPhone. Automatic double sided printing is great. Color printing is good quality. Printing on card stock can get jammed, but there’s a rear bypass for that. It’s annoying that you have to do a single sheet at a time, but oh well. Copying and scanning is handy.
