This makes a horse easier to turn and the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth so easily. In addition, this bit lies calm and stable in the mouth. The full cheek is an ideal bit for young or very hot horses who may not understand steering. The straight pieces on the cheekpiece are slightly bent outwards so that they cannot come into contact with the side of the horse's head. It is important that you put the bit in the mouth with the straight pieces facing outwards so that they can't cause wounds. The locked mouthpiece resembles a jointed mouthpiece but cannot fold as much as a jointed bit. When pressure is applied on the reins, the bit locks, transforming it into a straight bar and making it a sharper bit. With less pressure on the reins, the bit changes back into a jointed bit. Great Small Plates

I love these plates. I have been buying them for a couple of years and I think they are a great value. I use them to feed my cats and dog, and for reheating leftovers for lunch at work. They are sturdy, don't soak through, and the perfect size for my needs.
I don't understand why people have left negative reviews because they didn't read or comprehend the clearly listed plate size.

They do their job!

The thickness and the strength of these plates is great. They’re not flimsy at all. I haven’t had any issue with their functionality since small plates are typically for desserts or snacks. The only issue I’ve had is that they tend to be stuck together a fair amount of the time. Before gatherings, I’ve had to separate the plates. Not a huge problem, just a little inconvenience imo.
