The key feature of this protective sleeve is strategically placed PU Powerband stripes, inspired by kinesiology tape, that add strength to the lightweight material and significantly reduces movement when worn.

The sleeve is therefore well ventilated, easy to wear and secure, as well as uniquely packable in the smallest of trail backpacks. And when the riding gets tough the ergonomic soft-shell pads with a tough stretch facing come into play. Packable protection for when easy rides turn hard.

ARTI-LAGE FOAM
ACF (Arti-Lage Foam) is engineered to mimic the physical structure of human cartilage with molecular freeflow technology. Flexible and soft in the normal state but when met with impact the molecules in ACF form a hard, protective shell. The remaining impact energy is converted into barely noticeable heat before it can reach the body.

Superior Shock Absorption
ACF is highly shock absorbing as it absorbs up to 95% of impact energy. With a thickness of 6 mm it gives 32% higher shock absorbance than EVA. With a thickness of 13 mm it gives 97% higher shock absorbance than EVA.

Lightweight
ACF is lighter than other common PU foams.

Flexible
ACF perfectly adapts to the rider’s body and joints, through body heat, and remains flexible during movement without any restriction.

Comfortable
ACF keeps it’s long-lasting, superior anti-compression and non-deformation properties even after multiple uses.

ACF features a semi-open cell structure.

Temperature steady
ACF doesn’t lose its performance in low or high temperatures.

Anti-Microbial
ACF has a microbial resistance of more than 99%, even after washing.

Non-Toxic
Chemical tests prove that ACF contains no toxic substance and is therefore harmless to health. ACF passes the European Standard EN71-3 for Chemical Testing.
