After the events that unfolded in the film Avengers: Endgame (2019), WandaVision is the first television series integrated into the Marvel Cinematographic Universe (MCU) and produced by Marvel Studios. In the series, Wanda Maximoff instinctively and unconsciously uses all her mystical power as a channel of Chaos Magic to alter the reality of a quiet city and its inhabitants, recreating a perfect world, according to her concept. Played by Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematographic Universe, Wanda and her brother were guinea pigs for the terrorist organization Hidra. They were used in experiments with terrigenous mist, a mutagenic substance from the Kree aliens. Blaming the Avengers for the destruction and death of their family in a disastrous mission in Sokovia, their home country, the brothers allied with the robot Ultron, but after discovering the robotic villain's real plans for destruction, they switched sides. Unfortunately, Pietro was eventually killed by Ultron and Wanda joined the Avengers, where she began dating the syntozoid Vision.
