"Bright, medium yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full, with flint, vanilla, allspice, roasted almond, pineapple and stonefruit aromas. Full-bodied, ripe stonefruit and pineapple aromas melded with toffee, vanilla, roasted almond, and allspice. The mouthfeel is full and creamy, and the sweetness filling out the palate contributes to the weight and roundness. Balanced acidity carries subtle spice to a toasty finish. The 2021 growing season has graced this Chardonnay with some added complexity. The green apple and pear aromatics from Clarksburg Chardonnay are complemented by notes of tangerine and stone fruit, while honeysuckle and vanilla heighten the first impression. The rich and creamy entry rolls into a viscous and silky mouthfeel, surrounded by Asian pears and Honeycrisp apples. The finish lingers long and soft, like the wafting aromas of grandma’s warm apple pie.

Bright, medium gold-yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is full and voluminous, with aromas of banana, toffee, spice, cashew, underlying apple and pear. Full-bodied, aromas of banana toffee, roasted cashew and spice entwined with a layer of pear and apple. The wine is rich and mouth-filling with sweetness and weight; spice and toasty details add interest and lengthen by balanced acidity. This voluminous Chardonnay possesses rich flavours of fruit, spice and toasty elements with a lengthy caramelized palate. Aromas of spicy nutmeg and freshly baked brioche tantalize the senses, while the fresh, wholesome juiciness of Golden Delicious apples and Bartlett pears shine. The rich and silky mouthfeel, enhanced with hand stirring each barrel twice a month, leaves a decadent finish of brown butter and cream.
