Here today we have 61 photos taken by Staff Sergeant Edward Weden of the 409th Bomb Squad, part of the 93rd Bomb Group during the course of World War II taking place during Operation Tidal Wave- a series of Air Bombing Attacks Libya and Romania to deny Oil to the Axis Powers during the "Oil Campaign", which took place during 1943.
