Medjool dates require intensive and complex cultivation, like hand-pollination to ensure sufficient yields and multiple trips up the tree for harvesting and pruning. They are actually a fresh fruit as there is no processing or chemical drying that takes place. Ancient cultures called the date palm the ‘Tree of Life’.
Instructions:
Enjoy as is for a nutrient-rich snack, on salads, in desserts or try stuffing with nut or seed butters. Store in a cool place.
