With the great success of the Suzuki Swift Sport tuning products, Forge Motorsport R&D department has designed and produced a range of performance upgrades for Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid vehicles. The product in question here is our enlarged turbo elbow. The OEM part design requirements are a balance between performance, efficiency, and refinement. Here at Forge Motorsport, we have concentrated on the performance aspect of the product, which has been achieved by removing the internal restrictions then enlarging and smoothing out the inlet tract to the turbo.

Several different designs and material choices were tested until we arrived with the product you see here. The construction of FMTIA14 is manufactured from reinforced multi ply silicone which is more durable than the OEM rubber hose and it will also not suffer from heat soak like a metallic product can. With its enlarged capacity and less restrictive surface area it routes air directly into your turbo charger and allows a greater volume of air to be compressed. This can have a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or in between gear changes due to more air being kept within the inlet tract to the turbo charger. FMTIA14 fits directly to the factory airbox and with most aftermarket performance intakes but is best combined with Forge Motorsports intake system FMINDK53. 

Forge Motorsport turbo inlet adaptors are a key modification to any engine when in search of increased performance from your engine and here the Suzuki Swift sport Hybrid is no exception. During our extensive testing on the dyno and on the road, we saw consistent gains every time. On a stock vehicle we would expect to see consistent gains from 6-7 bhp and a respectable increase of 20Nm in torque later on in the rev range from 4500 to the red line.

This is a straightforward yet very effective power increasing modification which can be fitted with basic tools and has a typical installation time of around 30 minutes.
