Illustrated ?
The content of the book is well worth reading. The claim that it is "illustrated" borders on dishonesty. There are 14 thumbnail photos, none of which have anything to do with the life of Teresa of Avila. However, it was worth $0.99 (for the Kindle version).

Great Inspiration
Format: Paperback
I love this book so much. If you want to be inspired to feel God's presence in your life, this book does it for me. I love her story and the way she writes. I find her wit very amusing at times. Here's one. "It seems the Lord not only wanted my soul, but my body as well as he began to lift it off the ground -- and at the most inopportune times."

Loved it...she really spoke to me....
Format: Paperback
"Reading any other works of Teresa of Avila without having read her autobiography robs the later works of the one thing they need: context"...I wholeheartedly agree!! This autobiography is a truly enriching, and I constantly refer back to her writings. I previously read Interior Castle with some difficulty, but have re-read it since reading this "treasure" and it has made a world of difference. St. Tesesa's autobiography is an inspiring work...a life-changer/soul-saver, and a must have for a catholic bookshelf.

Great Study Bible
Format: Imitation Leather, Format: Imitation Leather
I’m very happy with this Amplified Study Bible. First the large print makes it so much easier to read than the comfort print Bibles. I love study Bibles. I have 3 different translations I like to reference. I don’t think The Amplified Bible is for everyone. My husband doesn’t care for it. Although he will ask me to cross reference scripture out of it at times. I love how this Bible explains and expands the meaning in scripture. It makes it easier to understand some of the scriptures. The Study Notes are amazing. Giving even more context and insight into scripture. The Theological Notes are great they give scripture a whole new depth. I appreciate the Book Introduction, they help set the stage for what’s taking place in that particular book. The cross reference system of this Bible helps with cross referencing. The Full color Maps and Bible Lands are wonderful. They help the reader to be able to visualize where things take place. The quality seems very good. The cover seems well made. The pages feel like they’re made from high quality paper. My highlighters don’t bleed through to the other side. Overall I’m very happy with this Study Bible and love having this Bible in my collection.
