The Siros L 800Ws Battery-Powered Monolight from Broncolor is the latest in the Siros series of monolights. Powered by a Li-ion battery, the flash head gets up to 220 full-power flashes on a 70-minute charge. The modeling light is a 25W LED to conserve battery power.
Speed is central to the design of the Siros L. Recycling is a lightning fast 0.03 to 2.7 seconds, while normal t0.5 flash duration is as short as 1/7400 sec. There's also a Speed Mode that bypasses the Siros L's Enhanced Color Temperature Control to prioritize short flash durations and fast recycle speeds. The result is a flash duration of 1/18,000 at minimum power: fast enough to freeze water droplets and other stop action effects. The Siros L has a 9-stop variable power range from full power all the way down to 2Ws. While at higher settings it's possible to out-flash the sun, lower settings allow use of even the widest apertures for your desired effect. All functions are available on the simple, intuitive panel via an ergonomic rotary controller, but you also have access to the menus and controls of up to 6 units using your tablet or smartphone and the free bronControl app.
Siros L features Broncolor HS for syncing at shutter speeds up to 1/8000s. Broncolor HS requires an RFS2.2 transmitter, available for Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras. Existing Siros owners should ensure that their lights have the latest user-upgradable firmware, available online at www.bron.ch/sirosfirmwareupdate/.
- Siros L is Battery-Powered
- A single fully-charged lithium-ion battery stores enough energy for a Siros 800 L to flash more than 220 times, and it does that at maximum power.
- Siros L is Fast
- In only 0.03 seconds, your Siros L is ready again. The flash duration can as fast as 1/8700 sec (t 0.1) or 1/18000 sec (t 0.5).
- Cut-Off Technology
- Flash duration and light output are the two decisive factors in light control. A microprocessor in Siros L will calculate the shortest flash duration for a given energy setting.
- Speed Mode
- In Speed Mode, fast charging and short flash times have absolute priority. In this case, the calculation of constant color temperature (ECTC) is suppressed for quick results.
- Siros L is Simple
- Very simple operation using the single rotary controller. Alternatively, you can use the advanced, intuitive app.
- Siros L is Powerful
- The high light output leaves no photographer standing in the dark. It can even challenge sunshine. And with a control range of 9 stops, you can still use wide-open apertures when needed.
- Siros L is LED
- With its low power consumption, the 25W LED module provides bright modeling light at a color temperature of 3200K. The light characteristics are absolutely comparable with the modeling light from a mains-operated Siros S.

The Thick Red and Black Spaghetti of Power

If electricity had highways, this would be an interstate.
The cable feels substantial, the copper conductors are flexible enough to work with, and the included lugs and heat shrink tubing make installation easier. Great for batteries, inverters, solar systems, RV electrical upgrades, marine projects, and welding setups.
Voltage drop stays low thanks to the heavy gauge construction, and the insulation feels durable enough for demanding environments.

Cheap price for the cable and terminal ends with heat shrink.

Good 6 gauge wire, jacket seems sturdy and like it won't crack easily over time like some wire.
Comes with all the connectors shown too so you don't need to find end ring connections to terminate the ends.
Just need a punch or crimp tool for the terminals but if you already have that then just cut your wire length and add the ends for battery cable.

Not all great stereo systems meet all the requirements for connectivity.
I want to go on record, the Onkyo TX-Nr7100 is an awesome choice for a stereo avr. Great connectivity, a warm sound quality, and many options for your audio sound choices. But, because it's base connectivity, as it applies to Bluetooth, I do not recommend to connecting a PC to it. Due to audio and video, data separation. The Onkyo, though an excellent stereo choice, has problems playing Youtube and other types of media, with built in audio and video playback. It defaults to the miniplayer, built into the system and is impossible to get rid of in these situations. I give this product 5 stars on quality and performance, but it was not made to connect to a computer. Stll, I recommend this AVR Stereo Receiver on its aesthetic look, sound, audio and connections and quality. Very important to keep this in mind for Computer and gaming console connection to this system.

After researching extensively and using the TX‑NR7100 firsthand with a 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup, I’m thoroughly impressed by its blend of features, performance, and value.
Setup & Interface
The guided setup process is smooth and intuitive—Wi‑Fi setup, firmware updates, speaker configuration and HDMI mapping all work seamlessly. The on-screen menus are clean and accessible, though some deeper options may require a bit of navigation
With six HDMI 2.1 inputs and two HDMI 2.1 outputs, this receiver supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video formats, along with VRR, eARC, and ALLM. This makes it ideal for gaming consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X—performance is solid with no reported signal dropouts on the primary HDMI ports.
Audio & Sound Quality
Every channel delivers up to ~100 W into 8 Ω, powering immersive content such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with clarity and presence. THX post-processing adds dimension and scale, especially with cinematic soundtracks. Dirac Live room correction provides musical staging, precise imaging, cleaner dialog, and deeper bass—transformative for untreated or irregular rooms.
Streaming & Multi-Room
Equipped with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth (including aptX), and Sonos/DTS Play-Fi integration, streaming is flexible and robust. Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, TuneIn, and more are all supported. It even functions as a Roon endpoint with no signal issues when streaming high-res audio over Ethernet.
Build & Design
The front panel features a large green display, a straightforward volume dial, and basic controls. While the remote is functional, it isn’t backlit. The control app is usable but somewhat basic, making desktop Dirac calibration a better option for fine-tuning.
