A digital dash and console displays speed and battery status. The optional 50 AH battery upgrade extends range to 19 miles per charge. Optional pneumatic tires provide better outdoor traction than standard solid tires. The Power Seat Lift option raises the entire seat 6 inches to assist users standing from the scooter. LiquiCell adjustable sliding seat, dual rear-view mirrors, and front and rear LED lights standard. Three seat configurations. Three colors: Azure Blue, Crimson Red, and Galactic Grey. Key Features

  • 400 lb weight capacity — 50 lbs more than the Companion Midsize GC240E; serves a broader range of users
  • Full front and rear suspension — both front and rear wheels are independently suspended; absorbs bumps, surface transitions, and sidewalk variations for a smooth ride that the suspension-free GC240E cannot match on uneven outdoor surfaces
  • Digital dash and console — displays real-time speed and battery charge level; more informative than LED indicator gauges
  • 50 AH battery upgrade — the highest-capacity battery option in the Golden scooter catalog; extends range to 19 miles per charge, enabling full-day use without recharging for most users
  • Pneumatic (air-filled) tire option — provides better traction on outdoor surfaces, shock absorption, and a more comfortable ride over varied terrain; requires periodic inflation and carries a flat-tire risk compared to standard solid tires
  • Power Seat Lift option — motorized mechanism raises the seat 6 inches to reduce the hip and knee range needed to stand; same concept as on the GC240E
  • Infinite adjustable tiller — continuously adjustable to any angle without fixed click points; accommodates any arm length or shoulder condition
  • LiquiCell adjustable sliding seat — seat slides fore and aft to adjust tiller reach distance; LiquiCell material redistributes pressure during extended use
  • Digital headlight — adjustable LED — angle-adjustable for road illumination at different speeds and terrains
  • Dual rear-view mirrors — standard on both sides
  • Front and rear LED lights — full lighting package standard
  • Under-mat troubleshooting guide — quick-reference diagnostics under the floor mat
  • Electro-mechanical brakes — auto-engage when throttle is released or parked
  • Disassembles for transport — an uncommon capability for a full-size scooter in this weight class
  • Three colors — Azure Blue, Crimson Red, and Galactic Grey (exclusive to the GC340E vs the GC240E's two colors)

Clinical FAQs

How does the GC340E compare to the Companion Midsize GC240E — when does the larger model make sense?

The GC240E and GC340E share the same Companion platform — LiquiCell adjustable sliding seat, dual rear-view mirrors, front and rear LED lights, infinite tiller, delta tiller, under-mat guide, electro-mechanical brakes, and Power Seat Lift option. The GC340E adds four meaningful upgrades over the GC240E. First, a 400 lb weight capacity versus the GC240E's 350 lb limit. Second, full front and rear suspension — the GC240E has no suspension at all, making the GC340E substantially smoother on outdoor surfaces. Third, a digital dash and console in place of the GC240E's LED battery gauge. Fourth, the 50 AH battery upgrade option for 19-mile range — the GC240E offers no extended battery option. The GC340E also has a slightly wider 45" turning radius compared to the GC240E's tighter 37", and its longer 46" length provides more legroom for taller users. The standard drive range is 12 miles on the GC340E versus 15 miles on the GC240E — the larger motor and heavier frame draw more power from the same U-1 batteries — but the 50 AH upgrade more than compensates for this at 19 miles. For users who require more than 350 lb capacity, expect to ride primarily outdoors over uneven surfaces, or want the extended battery range for all-day use, the GC340E is the appropriate choice. For users whose primary use is indoor or smooth paved outdoor surfaces and the 350 lb capacity is sufficient, the GC240E's tighter turning and slightly lighter weight are meaningful.

What does full front and rear suspension mean for daily scooter use?

On the GC240E, the wheels are rigidly attached to the frame — every bump, surface crack, sidewalk joint, and threshold transition is transmitted directly through the frame to the rider. On the GC340E, both the front and rear wheels are independently suspended, meaning each wheel can travel up and down over obstacles independently while the frame and seat remain more stable. The practical result is a dramatically smoother ride on the outdoor surfaces where full-size scooters are most often used — parking lots, sidewalks with expansion joints, driveways, and paths through parks or shopping districts. For users with spinal conditions (osteoporosis, compression fractures, spinal stenosis), hip or joint pain that makes vibration uncomfortable, or simply those who plan to ride the scooter for extended periods across varied outdoor terrain, the suspension system reduces cumulative ride fatigue and discomfort in a way that no amount of seat padding alone can replicate. Front and rear suspension — where both axles are suspended — provides better isolation than rear-only suspension because surface irregularities approached head-on by the front wheel are absorbed rather than transmitted into the front end of the frame.

What is the difference between pneumatic and solid tires and which should I choose?

Solid tires — the standard option — are made entirely of rubber or foam, with no air cavity. They cannot go flat, require no inflation maintenance, and perform consistently regardless of temperature or usage frequency. Pneumatic (air-filled) tires have an inner air chamber that provides cushioning — they act as an additional level of shock absorption beyond the scooter's suspension system, conforming slightly to uneven surfaces and delivering better traction on wet pavement, gravel paths, or rough outdoor terrain. The trade-off is maintenance: pneumatic tires require periodic inflation to the correct pressure, and they can go flat from a puncture. For users whose daily route is primarily smooth pavement indoors or in well-maintained parking areas, solid tires are the lower-maintenance, more reliable choice. For users who regularly navigate more varied outdoor surfaces — gravel park paths, uneven driveways, slightly rough terrain — pneumatic tires improve traction and comfort, particularly on the GC340E which already has full suspension for a combined smooth-ride package. If a flat tire would leave the user stranded without a way to manage it independently, the solid tire option eliminates that risk entirely. Awesome price for quality balls
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (ball only)
These balls are super bouncy and durable. My dog loves them and for the price these are totally worth it! I think they are as durable as nerf balls and equal in size, and much cheaper!

Rope comes out at the slightest force. Pointless tug toy!
Color: Four colors, Size: 6cm (with rope)
If your dog pulls on these (and why wouldn’t he?), the rope immediately comes out. Turns out they just fuse the ends of the nylon rope together, which is no match for a dog playing tug. Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.

Not for super chewers!
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope), Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope)
These rope ball toys arrived today. My poodle puppy loves rope ball toys and playing tug of war. These didn’t last 10 minutes. For context, she is 1 y.o., 30 lbs., is not teething & has her adult teeth. She did this on her own- we were not playing tug of war at the time the toy fell apart. At least there are 3 more in the package & when the rope is done, we’ll still have the balls to play with.

What I've been looking for
Size: Large (Pack of 1)
Just got my Nero Ball. Only used it once, but really like it. I've tried other "ball on a string" type toys, with unsatisfactory results. I'll be using it as a training reward, and my boy, who is a pretty ferocious tugger, is going to learn 2 new things with this ball. 1st, to target the ball instead of the rope, and 2nd, that it's for a little gentle tugging instead of the full throttle stuff he does otherwise. After our 1st session with the Nero Ball, he's picking up on the new rules quickly. We'll see how it does long term, but I think this is one I'll stay with. *UPDATE* Been using my Nero Ball for a month now. I'm tempted to call it the 'Hero Ball' because it's just that terrific!! For me, the key has been putting in the time to allow both myself & my dog to develop the skill to use this tool smoothly. May sound strange, but using a toy as a training reward requires practice, and each different toy configuration requires different handling. It's time well spent - we're both having a lot of fun! Kudos to the designer of this ball. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the length & material of the rope (just the right length that the dog won't step on it; material is easy on the hand while still being tough enough to withstand a few toothy grabs; the loop is the perfect size to grab for a little tug or to pass the ball through to slip-knot it onto a belt loop). The ball is also just right. The knobs make it non-slip, the rubber eliminates tennis ball fuzz concerns, and being semi-hard and hollow makes it slightly compress-able, which makes it a higher value reward than a solid ball that can't be compressed. While this ball will not work for every application or for every dog, if you carefully read & understand the information provided and don't expect it to work outside those parameters, you will be pleasantly surprised by a very well designed, well constructed tool that you can use to enhance your training or play sessions with your dog.
