The beautiful fabric and semi-soft construction give this backpack the feeling of home. YKK zippers add to its professional-grade construction.

The Jasper Halfpack has a camera gear compartment in its lower half which opens from the back of the bag to provide security and to keep your back clean after setting the bag down in the dirt or mud. It also has an upper half that offers a large cavity as well as some smaller pockets and a slender area to slide a laptop computer into. The large cavity is terrific for large photographic items like a small strobe or it can be used for other non-photographic essentials like a jacket, food, lightweight stove, and much more. 

For times when you simply need a non-photo backpack the main camera insert can easily be removed from the Jasper Halfpack to expose a large storage area.

The back of the bag sports a luggage handle pass-through strap which is especially helpful for travel.

Another small accessory compartment can be found behind the flap on the front of the bag. It contains small pockets for filters, optical cleaning pens / writing pens, and a small clasp to connect a key ring to.

Two pockets on the bag's sides provide more places to stash important items like a small water bottle, macro focusing rail, snack bars, and more. These side pockets have an elastic band to hold their openings closed.

A tripod harness can be found on the bottom of the Jasper Halfpack. By attaching your tripod to the bottom of the bag its weight becomes more centered than other backpacks which mount a tripod to the side. And the center of gravity is lowered so you have better balance while walking or hiking with the Jasper Halfpack on your shoulders. The tripod harness uses quick release buckles for fast removal or insertion of the tripod. The entire tripod harness can be removed from the bag when you prefer not to use it.
