IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira Power Line Conditioner for Home Theatre

Available at Vinyl Sound, Toronto's hi-fi and home theatre specialist in Richmond Hill, ON, the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira is a compact, dedicated power line cleaner engineered specifically for audio-visual applications. With dual independent power cleaning circuits, 22,500A surge protection, and IsoTek's patented Triple Resonance Filter circuit, the Mini Mira improves both sound and picture quality across projectors, LCD, LED, OLED, and plasma displays — in a wall-mountable enclosure measuring just 130 × 65 × 170 mm.

Why dedicated AV power cleaning makes a difference

Mains power in any home carries two types of noise that degrade audio and video performance: Common Mode noise (interference appearing equally on both live and neutral lines) and Differential Mode noise (interference between live and neutral). The EVO3 Mini Mira addresses both simultaneously with dual cleaning circuits — one dedicated to the display or projector, the second for ancillary components such as set-top boxes, media players, and content storage devices. Two fully independent outlets prevent Differential Mode cross-contamination between connected equipment, ensuring each device receives the cleanest possible power supply.

Key features

  • Dual independent power cleaning circuits — one for display/projector, one for ancillary AV components
  • Eliminates both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise
  • RFI reduction: 30 dB audio, 40 dB visual — measurable improvement to picture clarity
  • IsoTek patented Triple Resonance Filter circuit for AV-optimised performance
  • 22,500A instantaneous surge protection via IsoTek's sequential and repeatable protection system
  • Fully star-earthed network for optimal noise drainage
  • Multi-strand 6N OFC silver-plated internal wiring with FEP (PTFE) dielectric
  • Compatible with projectors, LCD, LED, OLED, plasma, and CRT screens
  • Compact, wall-mountable — ideal for ceiling or cabinet installation near projectors
  • Standard IEC C14 inlet — works with any IEC C13 power cable
  • Available in UK, EU, US, AU, and CH outlet configurations

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira and a standard surge protector?
A standard surge protector only guards against voltage spikes. The EVO3 Mini Mira goes further: it actively filters both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise using dual independent cleaning circuits and IsoTek's Triple Resonance Filter, reducing RFI by 30 dB on the audio circuit and 40 dB on the visual circuit. The result is a measurably cleaner power supply that improves both sound quality and picture clarity — not just protection from surges.

What equipment should I plug into each outlet of the EVO3 Mini Mira?
The first outlet is dedicated to your display or projector — the "visual" circuit is optimised and filtered specifically for these power-hungry, noise-generating devices. The second outlet is for ancillary AV components such as set-top boxes, media players, Blu-ray players, or content storage devices. Keeping the two circuits independent prevents noise from one device contaminating the other.

Can the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira be used with a projector?
Yes — the Mini Mira is designed specifically for projector use. Its compact 130 × 65 × 170 mm enclosure and wall-mount capability allow it to be installed on the ceiling next to or close to a ceiling-mounted projector, keeping power filtering as close to the source as possible.

What power cable does the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira use?
The Mini Mira uses a standard IEC C14 inlet, making it compatible with any IEC C13 power cable. IsoTek recommends using a high-quality IsoTek power cable to maintain design and material consistency throughout your power delivery system — the internal 6N OFC silver-plated wiring is engineered to synergise with IsoTek's cable range.

Does the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira work in Canada with 120V power?
Yes. The Mini Mira is rated for 100–240V / 50–60Hz, making it fully compatible with North American 120V power. At 115V, each outlet supports up to 10A / 1,150W. Select the US outlet configuration when ordering for use in Canada.

What is Common Mode and Differential Mode noise in mains power?
Common Mode noise is interference that appears simultaneously and equally on both the live and neutral conductors of a mains supply — often caused by radio frequency interference (RFI) from nearby electronics. Differential Mode noise appears between the live and neutral lines, typically generated by switching power supplies inside equipment. Both types degrade audio and video performance; the EVO3 Mini Mira filters both simultaneously with dedicated circuits.

Is the IsoTek EVO3 Mini Mira suitable for hi-fi audio as well as home theatre?
The Mini Mira is optimised primarily for audio-visual applications — particularly display devices and projectors. For a dedicated hi-fi audio system without a display, IsoTek's EVO3 Aquarius or Sirius models may be more appropriate, as they offer more outlets and are tuned for audio-only equipment. At Vinyl Sound Toronto, our team can advise on the right IsoTek model for your setup.

Looks promising… but I haven’t built it yet 🛠📚
Color: White, Size: 9.3 D x 19.5 W x 41.8 H in
I haven’t actually assembled this 7-cube Amazon Basics bookcase yet, so I can’t comment on durability or stability. That said, everything arrived in good condition, the materials look solid, and the pre-drilled holes and pieces seem well-made. From first impressions alone, it seems like a quality piece that would fit nicely in a home or office space. I’m leaving a tentative rating based on appearance and packaging, but I’ll update if assembly goes smoothly or if I discover any issues. Pros: Materials look sturdy and well-made Pre-drilled holes and pieces seem accurate Sleek, simple design fits most rooms Good size for home or office storage Cons: Haven’t assembled it yet, so can’t comment on actual stability Star rating might change once it’s built and in use Verdict: Promising. Appears to be a quality cube organizer — I’ll update once I assemble it to confirm if it lives up to the look.

Anyone with multiple monitors should buy this
I have been wanting something like this for years. I use three monitors, and keeping them all aligned is impossible. I've considered using tape, but that seems like it would lead to a sticky mess and it would never hold well. I imagined some solution with magnets, but never came up with anything that I thought I could implement myself. As soon as I saw this product, I was ordered two sets. I knew that this was either going to be a revolution, or a huge disappointment. It was not a disappointment. Installation is simple as can be, clean off your monitor back with some alcohol wipes (they should consider including some, would be a nice touch). For my screens, alignment was super easy because they have really square corners so I just stuck my aligners right at the corners and it worked great. For a screen with a curved back or something more geometric you probably want to get the screens in place first, then stick both parts at the same time. Either way, they stuck really well and the pads are flexible so they would work on a curved back just as well as flat. The brackets also have a locking part that allows you to slide them side to side a bit giving you more flexibility in mounting, and then you can lock them down once everything is lined up so they hold nice and firm. I also managed to screw up and put the wrong part on the wrong side, but luckily if you unlock the bracket you can slide the main part off of the adhesive part completely, so I was able to simply swap the two main parts without needing to peel the adhesive part off. It's a well thought out design and I was impressed by just how much flexibility there was in the mounting solution while still allowing for a very easy installation and rigid final setup. The magnets are strong, strong enough that if I needed to move a monitor regularly it would actually be annoying because while you can definitely take these apart they hold way too well to be doing so all the time. These are clearly intended for a permanent installation, without making it overly difficult to take things apart if you have to. If you have to turn a screen often though, such as to show something to a client or make the screen visible from another area of the room, I'm not sure if these will be what you need as they don't just come apart easily. If you want your screens to stay where you put them though, they are awesome! For me, these were perfect, and based on the design I think they should work well for most monitors and most setups. I'm so glad this product exists, it was well worth the money.

I'd give 10 stars if I could
Holy cow! This is it! For YEARS I've been looking for a product that would align the bezels on my monitors. I found this product by scrolling through reels and then found the link to Amazon. The price was steep and I was hesitant, but I took the gamble and I'm so glad I did. Installation is slightly confusing, and you really want to know how this works before you adhere it to any surface. I'll break it down for you: Align your monitors flat next to each other. Attach one side with the adhesive, then snap the other side on with the magnet. Peel that adhesive strip and lay it on your second monitor so that they are even. Repeat for the bottom. Twist the U shape up for the left, down for the right. Adjust your angle and then lock them by putting the U shape back to how it was. That's it. The stability on these simple magnets is excellent. I went from a wobbly mount to locked in and only moving when I want it to. I'm so happy this product exists. That's German engineering for you. 💪💪

Works well...but the price!
I ordered two sets to connect 3 monitors together for a workstation at my job. These are well designed and the magnets are pretty strong. Installation is easy and it holds the alignment well. The only issue is the price. For what it is, the price is quite high. The value proposition would be much higher for those who need to be able to not have them aligned from time to time, such as rotating one around for others to see in an office. But if don't need to do this and just want alignment, there are much cheaper options. If you want to go the cheapest DIY route and it won't be seen, some popsicle sticks with two sided tape works well. You can crack them in the middle to act as a hinge.
