The Paper Fold Prediction is a trick that is self-working and highly versatile; it also contains multiple phases which add layers to your presentation. You can use it to perform a variety of effects, such as prediction, control, matching... etc. And the best thing about this trick is everything can be done in the spectator's hands. It truly is a pocket wonder!

Main effect:

The magician takes out an envelope and leaves it on the table.

After the spectator has selected a card (2 of Hearts), the magician takes out a piece of paper from the tabled envelope. It is shown and a mix of numbers and suits can be seen printed on both sides.

Then, the magician asks the spectator to fold the piece of paper until it becomes a small packet, with numbers and suits placed in different directions. (The spectator can fold the paper in any direction they wish.)

The magician then cuts (or tears) off the edge of the paper into separate pieces. Miraculously, upon going through them, only two pieces of paper are facing down while others are facing up. One of them is a "heart", and the other is a "2", and it perfectly matches the spectator's chosen card!!!

The magician picks up the envelope and unfolds it. It is a piece of paper with "2 of Hearts" largely printed on it!
