The Woodpeckers Drill Press Protractor is a deceptively simple tool that delivers a high level of accuracy when setting angles on your drill press and other critical tools in your shop. For a woodworker to step away from straight and square and start incorporating angles into joinery and design marks a significant milestone. Accurately setting angles on tools and jigs is a huge part of the challenge. The Drill Press Protractor uses an engraved, easy-to-read Vernier scale that allows you to set an angle as precisely as 5 minutes of a degree. Once your angle is set, simply mount the Drill Press Protractor in your chuck and adjust the table to match.

- V-machined into the base for setting up on the center of a dowel

Light weight affordable and still nice. Could be a little bit heavier at the base, I really like it so far. Seems pretty sturdy, definitely will need to check in to see the longevity of the product. Overall good budget buy.

Use for canning rings

I bought this to hold my canning rings and it worked great. The smaller arm holds my wide mouth rings and the larger one holds the regular ones. When I’m canning, I’m able to move the whole thing into the kitchen due to its light weight and use what I need. Once I’m done with the rings, back they go.
