The Original Prop
Two different miniature Enterprise props were crafted for “Catspaw.” Both were machined from aluminum, - Prop A - was encased in clear acrylic (previously replicated by Factory Entertainment in a now SOLD-OUT edition) - Prop B - was not. This is a replica of Prop B, famously featured in the scene where the alien witch Sylvia uses it to torment the crew by holding it over a candle flame. As the miniature prop heats up, the temperature aboard the Enterprise skyrockets.

Because of its delicate design and aluminum construction, the original prop was prone to bending. Careful viewers will notice slight distortions in the miniature on-screen.
