Howler started life sans tail, but a rather stout appendage (THAT IS SUPER COOL! It took so freaking long to trim the faux fur in a way that allowed for the tail spikes to be seen without making it look super weird. I really should have thought about how long the pile of this fur was before I invested so much time into the project) had to be added when Momma accidentally placed his back legs a bit too high. Considering that this was one of the first Tongue Monsters she put the legs on herself, this was to be expected (if one were to look at my first four-legged Tongue Monsters, they would notice the rather conspicuous additions of rather sturdy tails as well 😅🤣). 😆 You might notice that Howler is still gazing a bit higher than most of his compatriots, which is where he got his name. He's just howling at the moon! 😁 I also keep forgetting that Mom dye-sublimated a popsicle onto his tongue, so everytime I pull it out I get a cute little surpise! 🥰
