Ingredients Explained:

- Black Cohosh is a flowering plant with a long history of use in traditional medicine, particularly for women's health concerns. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits and some important considerations regarding Black Cohosh:

  • Menopausal Symptoms: This is the most well-established benefit of Black Cohosh. Several studies have shown it can be helpful in reducing symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness in menopausal women.
  • Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS): Some studies suggest Black Cohosh might alleviate PMS symptoms like mood swings, bloating, and cramps. However, the evidence is not conclusive, and more research is required.

     - Broccoli extract boasts several potential health benefits, primarily due to its high concentration of a compound called sulforaphane. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits and some important considerations:

    • Detoxification Support: Sulforaphane can stimulate the body's natural detoxification enzymes, which help eliminate harmful compounds and protect cells from damage.
    • Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Effects: Broccoli extract is rich in antioxidants that combat free radicals and reduce inflammation throughout the body. This may contribute to a reduced risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and arthritis.
    • Improved Blood Sugar Control: Studies suggest broccoli extract might improve blood sugar management, potentially beneficial for people with type 2 diabetes. However, more research is needed to confirm this benefit.
    • Gut Health: Preliminary research suggests broccoli extract might promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and improve gut health. However, more studies are needed.

     - The research on Calcium D-Glucarate is ongoing, and the evidence for its benefits is mixed. Here's a breakdown of what we currently know:

    • Detoxification: Calcium D-Glucarate is thought to work by supporting the body's natural process of eliminating excess hormones and toxins. It may help activate enzymes that convert inactive estrogen metabolites into a more easily excretable form.

     - Chaste tree extract, also known as vitex agnus-castus, has been used for centuries in herbal medicine for various women's health concerns. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits and some important considerations:

    • Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS): Several studies have shown that Chaste tree extract can be effective in reducing the severity of PMS symptoms, such as mood swings, bloating, breast pain, and cramps. It is considered one of the better-supported herbal remedies for PMS.
    • Menstrual Cycle Regulation: Some studies suggest Chaste tree extract might help regulate irregular menstrual cycles. However, more research is needed to confirm this benefit.
    • Menopausal Symptoms: Limited research suggests Chaste tree extract might alleviate some menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. However, the evidence is not conclusive.

    - Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and kale. While research is ongoing, the evidence for its proven benefits is limited. Here's a breakdown of what we currently know:

    • Hormone Balance (Limited Evidence): DIM is converted in the body to compounds that may influence estrogen metabolism. Some theories propose this might be beneficial for hormone-related conditions like endometriosis and uterine fibroids. However, strong clinical evidence to support these uses is lacking.

    - Green tea extract is a concentrated source of the beneficial compounds found in green tea leaves. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits supported by scientific evidence:
    High in Antioxidants:

    • Green tea extract is particularly rich in antioxidants called catechins, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). These antioxidants combat free radicals in the body, protecting cells from damage and potentially reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

    Weight Management:

    • Studies suggest green tea extract may modestly promote weight loss by boosting metabolism and increasing fat burning. However, it's most effective when combined with a healthy diet and exercise routine.

    Improved Brain Function:

    • Green tea extract contains caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid that can influence brainwave activity. This combination can enhance cognitive function, improve alertness, memory, and focus.

    - Grape seed extract (GSE) has been studied for a variety of potential health benefits, but the evidence for many of these claims is limited. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits and some important considerations regarding GSE:

    • Potential Antioxidant Benefits: GSE is rich in proanthocyanidins, a type of antioxidant that can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. This might offer some protection against chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer. However, more research is needed to understand the long-term effects of GSE supplementation on these conditions.

    - Hops extract, derived from the flowers of the hop plant (Humulus lupulus), has a long history of use, traditionally known for its role in brewing beer. However, recent research has explored its potential health benefits beyond the realm of beverages. Here's a breakdown of the current understanding of proven benefits and some important considerations:

    • Insomnia: Some studies suggest hops extract, particularly due to its content of compounds like xanthohumol and prenylated flavonoids, might modestly improve sleep quality and reduce symptoms of insomnia. However, the evidence is not conclusive, and more research is needed to confirm its effectiveness and optimal dosage.
    • Anxiety: Preliminary research suggests hops extract might have some anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects. However, more studies are needed to determine its effectiveness for treating anxiety disorders.
    • Menopausal Symptoms: Limited research suggests hops extract might offer some relief from menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. However, the evidence is weak, and more robust studies are needed.
    • Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Effects: Hops extract contains compounds with potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. While these properties might contribute to overall health, more research is needed to understand their specific benefits.

    - Rosemary extract, derived from the fragrant herb Rosmarinus officinalis, boasts a range of potential health benefits. Here's a breakdown of the proven benefits and some important considerations:

    • Cognitive Function: Studies suggest rosemary extract may improve cognitive function, memory, and focus. This might be due to its antioxidant properties and its ability to influence brain signaling pathways.
    • Pain Management: Some studies suggest rosemary extract might have pain-relieving properties, particularly for headaches and joint pain. However, more research is needed to confirm these benefits and determine the optimal dosage.
    • Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Effects: Rosemary extract is rich in antioxidants that can help combat free radicals and reduce inflammation throughout the body. This might contribute to a reduced risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and arthritis. However, more research is needed to understand the specific long-term effects.
    • Hair Loss Prevention: Preliminary studies suggest that topical application of rosemary extract might promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. However, the evidence is limited, and more research is required.

    - Turmeric, a bright yellow spice commonly used in curries and other dishes, boasts a range of proven benefits due in large part to its curcumin content. Here's a breakdown of the science-backed advantages of turmeric:
    Proven Anti-inflammatory Effects:

    • This is one of the most well-established benefits of turmeric. Curcumin in turmeric possesses potent anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation is linked to various health problems, and turmeric can help manage inflammation associated with conditions like arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and some skin conditions like psoriasis.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
    Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

    Interesting
    Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

    I’m a little disappointed.
    Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

    4.25 stars
    Format: Kindle
Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

    That ending 😫
    Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol
