If you are a Texan, or have adopted Texas as your home, we welcome you to settle the Wild West your own way with the Jane Apron from Two Medium Sized Ladies named for Jane Long (1798-1880), who will always be remembered as the Mother of Texas. This apron features deep red letters and outlines of the most famous Southwest icons: cowboy boots, spurs, stars, sheriff badges, horseshoes, and silhouetted roping cowboys on horseback. Words include Cowboy, "Giddyup," Rodeo, Cowboy, and Wild West!

One of the earliest pioneers to make Texas her home, Jane migrated from Mississippi at the beginning of the 19th Century with her husband, James Long, settling at Bolivar Point. Jane was left there with their daughter Ann while James went to join the fight for independence from Spain. While others began to evacuate the area Jane remained. “My husband left me here to wait for him and I shall stay until he returns,” she said. Her husband never returned.

Upon learning the news that he had been killed in Mexico City, Jane moved her family to Brazoria where she opened a prosperous boarding house that was frequented by such prominent characters as William Barrett Travis.

Long’s boarding house was used as a meeting place before the war, and it is said that Stephen F. Austin delivered an impassioned speech calling Texans to war under her roof.

Should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag
This book should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag for quick reference. I am a police officer (8+ years) and stay on top of search and seizure case law as much as possible. This book is easy to read and gets the essential information on everything that has to do with police search and seizure. The topics are easy to find, and all are no more than 1-2 pages. Every sections cites the appropriate case law and offers tips for articulating PC for that type of incident.

Very helpful for law enforcement
Got this book recently and I am very impressed and happy I purchased it. I will keep this review short and to the point. This book covers everything with various searches including, cars, homes, etc. Anyone that works in law enforcement should pick this up as it provides what you can and cannot do, along with example cases. Great guide for any rookie and even vets that need a refresher.

A must have for all officers!
This book is a must-have for ALL officers. I use it constantly as my go-to reference for tricky search issues. My sergeant also has a copy and she reads one of the sections (about 1-2 pages) a few times a week during roll call. I hope that the author comes out with another book just with search warrant template language.

Super informative and relieves some stress over questions that I have
Really informative and will help with a lot of questions that I have and questions that others need answered. Have been taking many blue to gold courses and I’m so intrigued to possibly make this a deep learning process for myself.

Easy to use
Great quick reference. The book is well organized and it’s easy to look things up. The case law footnotes give a good starting point for any further research that you may need.
