| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Disappointing in many ways

Bought this model twice. Digital display failed on both, the first within the return window, the second just after. Timex customer "service" said to ship it back for a repair estimate, pay for the repair, and then it would take up to three months once payment was made. I said thanks, but I'll leave a bad review and get a Casio sooner.

Great value watch with all the basic functions.
This is a solid watch for the money. I think if you are looking for a training watch that doesn't break the bank, this is a good option. I looked at a ton of options, and I know there are some even cheaper entry level options, but this Ironman was a little bit of a step up in appearance and quality. To me it's worth it to get this over something in that $20 to $30 range. The Ironman was more stylish and less bulky than a lot of those options.
This watch has a nice sized face that makes it easy to see without being so large that it's too much. There are some of these entry level sports/military watches that are just enormous. I'm not a huge guy so this was a much better option. One thing I am really liking is how flexible the strap is. The material has a nice give to it making it a very comfortable watch to wear. I've had some watches in the past where the bands were just too stiff and made the watch very uncomfortable.
It's easy to understand and operate. I didn't even read the manual and had everything figured out after 5 or so minutes.
Unless you are really going to step up and get a GPS smart watch in the $200 and up range, this watch is a great option.
