This kit allows you to mount one SSC1 LED pod in your 2-inch or 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver, adding a high-power reverse light and additional running light. With the included wiring harness, this kit connects to your vehicle's factory connectors under the bumper. Brighter Backlight. Factory reverse bulbs just don't provide enough light output to back up at night confidently. By pairing our patented TIR optics with high-powered LEDs, the SSC1 LED pod included in this kit provides an additional reverse light that's several times brighter than stock bulbs alone. Plus, they automatically come on when the vehicle is put in reverse! Simple Installation. The patent-pending snap-fit design allows you to install this mount in minutes, without any drilling or need for a hitch pin. Simply insert the HitchMount into your trailer hitch receiver and the snap-fit side mounts will snap into place. Installation couldn't be easier and takes less than five minutes! Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Faulty pieces, unable to assemble.
One of the pieces came unthreaded so I wasn't able to put it together. We received all of the parts but since one was faulty, assembly wasnt possible. Customer service from both the original seller and amazon were unhelpful. Wish I could get a replacement part because I was really looking forward to this in my kitchen to add to the coffee bar, but I'm going to have to return it.

Husband loved it!!
Got this for my husband on Christmas and he absolutely loves this. The instructions were straightforward on how to build and it took less than an hour to assemble. The lights are pretty cool. They change different colors and there's different settings with the remote. I will say he did have to nail these to the studs in the wall so it can hold his hefty drinks LOL

A royal pain to install
The width of this item is such that it CANNOT be attached to the wall studs. That is unsafe for something that is intended to hold heavy items like liquor bottles. THEN the anchors that come with it are flimsy so we used a heavier different style anchor (threaded). That said, I like the way it looks, and the light effects.
