The Rain Slicker for the JVC GY-HM850/950 Camcorders from Porta Brace is a customized way to protect your camera from rain, dust and snow. The slicker is made from waterproof and breathable Taslan material, and complemented by a soft tricot interior that won't scratch your equipment. The Taslan material is both waterproof (1000mm waterproof rating), and breathable (1000G/M² breathability rating), which keeps the camera dry while also preventing the camera from overheating. The slicker contains extra material that can be extended for additional protection.
A vinyl window provides a clear view of the controls, and a quick change rear panel gives you rapid access to the battery compartment. Touch fasteners are used to open and close the slicker for tripod mounting. The detachable front visor keeps rain off the lens. This slicker can also be used while the camcorder is tripod mounted, handheld, or shoulder mounted.
